Say NO on map reset.

Some people just have to understand the advantages to a map reset. Not everything is going to be a disadvantage. Think on the positive side, and dont worry about your "Towns" or "Buildings". Van said in his quotes that there would be a option to bring over "some" buildings over to the new map. Besides the new map is suppose to be double the size of the current map. Look forward to it, you wont regret it.

 

Yeah, a fresh landscape would be nice. Hard to find a server where the far ends of the map haven't been dug out and build upon more than once. Nothing smells better than fresh map in the morning.

Abandon building
Abandon town

goodies:
Introduce new plugins on the next reset (rumors)
Generate new main world using 1.0 MC

 

I dont understand how people think the map reset is a "Rumor". Its going to happen either way, however the date has not been released by Van nor Deity.

 

im tyed to both ideas

i want a new map with all its resorces
but i dont want 2 lose all my stuff

 

Nothing is confirmed about the "loss" of items or Dei. So you shouldn't be worried about your items as of now.
Van and Deity will give you a fair amount of time to organized yourself for the reset.

 

I say yes to reset but the mine should be reset like every 3 day for like the first month so u can rebuild is somewat of a easy way

I have one question regarding this topic, player shops, since it is getting reset will there be another auction or will the same select group of people that have them get to keep them? Because there are many open plots for shops in the mall that are not used so if not have another auction will those be available?

Yes to map reset a lot of abandoned houses and trash areas in the wild.

 

I think the map reset will be fine as long as you can keep the basics: mcmmo stats, your inventory, rank, etc.

 

I really hope that we at least get to keep our dei and our inventory in the very least. Would love to have a chest of items as well...

 

I think the map reset is a good idea. For everyone who has expressed concerns, just think of this reset as you hitting prestige level on your favorite CoD game. What you the player has learned will never be erased, and this map reset allows you to make your character anew, further increasing the qualities of them that earned you those precious materials or the ridiculous amounts of dei. I haven't heard the specifics on what imdeity's plan is for this reset, so I cant put my two cents on it.

I strongly disagree with the map reset. I live in Wraught and have put hours of work in to make it better. And for all that to be wiped away because a few people are unhappy about abandoned buildings is a JOKE!!
