I have build a 1:3 scale replica of The Petronas Towers

[3] The story of your structure
The Petronas Towers are twin skyscrapers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
According to the CTBUH's official definition and ranking,
they were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101,
but remain the tallest twin buildings ever built, surpassing the World Trade Center.
The building is the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Including the antenna spire their total height amounts to an amazing 451.9 m (1483 ft).
With a scale of 1:3 the building stands 150 blocks tall in Minecraft

The building is located in the Downtown district of the town of Wraught.

[7] Additional info, such as: List of items used, possible helpers.
On this project Lilgrubs assisted on the building.
Also i would like to thank Epilizard, Tumpthedump and thejacoborg for supplying some materials.
On this project i did not make a version in singleplayer so i can only guess the material amount.
We used about 3-4 double chests of smooth stone.
The builing itself consists of horizontal bands of smooth stone and double smooth stone slabs.
Unfortunately there is no interrior yet to this building (it is simply to massive).
With the help of a few of my townies, I might build some interrior at a later point in time.
As a side note I have constructed all my buildings without a magic carpet.

I have build a 1:3 scale replica of The scyscraper Taipei 101

[3] The story of your structure
Taipei 101 is a landmark skyscraper located in Xinyi District, Taipei, Taiwan.
The building ranked officially as the world's tallest from 2004 until the opening of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010.
The tower has served as an icon of modern Taiwan ever since its opening, and received the 2004 Emporis Skyscraper Award.
Fireworks launched from Taipei 101 feature prominently in international New Year's Eve broadcasts and the structure appears frequently in travel literature and international media.
Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground.
The building was architecturally created as a symbol of the evolution of technology and Asian tradition.
Its postmodernist approach to style incorporates traditional design elements and gives them modern treatments.
The tower is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes.
Including the antenna spire itstotal height amounts to an incredible 509.2 m (1671 ft).
With a scale of 1:3 the building stands 171 blocks tall in Minecraft

I have build a replica of The lighthouse of Alexandria

[3] The story of your structure
The Lighthouse of Alexandria, was a tower built between 280 and 247 BC on the island of Pharos at Alexandria, Egypt.
Its purpose was to guide sailors into the harbor at night.
With a height variously estimated at somewhere between 120 and 140 m (393 and 450 ft),
it was for many centuries among the tallest man-made structures on Earth and was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The lighthouse was badly damaged in the earthquake of 956, then again in 1303 and 1323.
The two earthquakes in 1303 and 1323 damaged the lighthouse to the extent that the Arab traveler Ibn Battuta reported no longer being able to enter the ruin.
Even the stubby remnant disappeared in 1480, when the then-Sultan of Egypt, Qaitbay,
built a mediƦval fort on the former location of the building using some of the fallen stone.
But now this mighty structure has risen again on ImDeity: Kingdoms!
I have also added a greek sailing ship that is mored just next to the lighthouse.

[2] The name of your structure:
The Temple of Time from Zelda: The Ocarina of Time

[3] The story of your structure
I have always been a huge Zelda fan ever since the first edition on NES.
The Ocarina of Time on the N64 is one of my favourite games of the series.
This project started a long time ago in singleplayer,
and when i heard that our town had a Zelda district i could not resist the urge to bring it over.
It takes up 21 plots on the server in a 3x7 configuration.
I had to do some modifications on materials due to price on server.
In the initial build there was a lot of glowstone, simply replaced by torches.
And the big tri-force on the wall was intended to be made out of goldblocks (66 pieces),
so this was replaced with yellow wool, a shame, because the tri-force desrves to be made out of gold.
I definitely wanted to have the basins around the temple, so no expense was spared here.
In front of the triforce sits an obsidian pedestal holding the three goddesses: Din, Nayru, and Farore (colored wool)
The one that link gathered in his youth, while fighting off skulltulas and deku baba's.
Behind the pedestal there is a narrow corridor that leads to the room with the mastersword.
Due to scale issues i decided not to make the mastersword it self, but just the black & white tri force.
The original building is very dark and has almost no windows.
Since this is minecraft, I took some artistic liberty and added the windows on the sides of the temple and the mastersword room.

[7] Additional info, such as: List of items used, possible helpers.
There originally was a mountain where I wanted to build the temple.
Some of my townies have helped me remove a quarter section of the mountain.
Thanks to: obfalcons, babyface0519 (who also supplied diamond tools for the whole crew), TumptheDump, XxNight_shadowxX, thejacoborg, bowserboy6557.
Without their help, i would have still been working on that mountain by now.
After the mountain got sectioned, Moirafae helped me a bit with doing some landscaping on it to make it look perdy again.
With the dirt gathered from the mountain removal, I did more terraforming and molded the surrounding desert into a grassy forest.
this is a long task which is not yet completed, but not that important either.

[2] The name of your structure:
    't Wapen van Batavia

[3] The story of your structure
In the 17th century the tiny country of The Netherlands ruled the 7 seas.
In this era, one of the worlds first globaltrade companies started in The Netherlands:

The Dutch East India Company (Dutch: Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie, VOC, "United East India Company")
was a chartered company established in 1602, when the States-General of the Netherlands granted it a 21-year monopoly to carry out colonial activities in Asia.
It is often considered to have been the first multinational corporation in the world and it was the first company to issue stock.
It was also arguably the first megacorporation, possessing quasi-governmental powers, including the ability to wage war, imprison and execute convicts, negotiate treaties, coin money, and establish colonies.

By 1669, the VOC was the richest private company the world had ever seen,
with over 150 merchant ships, 40 warships, 50,000 employees, a private army of 10,000 soldiers, and a dividend payment of 40% on the original investment.

This build is my impression of a 17th century VOC warship named 't Wapen van Batavia (freely translated: the Weapon of Batavia)
The ship has 3 floors below its main deck plus 1 floor above deck in the bow and 2 floors above deck in the stern.
The sails would not have been orange but I did not want to use white so I opted for some Dutch orange.

I was born in The Netherlands and am a mechanical engineer by trade who works in the field of marine and off shore industry.
Combine this with my love affair of arranging colored adhevise cubes and you get something along the lines of this project :)

Thanks to the return of sheep wool growth I could gather the courage to bring this project over to ImDeity Kingdoms.
Without that it would have been impossible.
This build is a project of months in creative that I had sitting around and I wanted to bring it over to our town.
I did the build on the server in about 30 hours spread across 3 days (i like to binge on minecraft :p)

Living in Wraught, and watching nova build some of these buildings, I must say they are even greater looking when seen in person. Great job nova, your buildings are some of the best, and most pretty I have seen in MC.

Thanks for the great reactions everyone,
I have completed build 4: Temple of Time (Zelda: the Ocarina of Time).
Unfortunately this week I will be very busy irl. And today I dont have any time to upload an official post above.
I will post the full set of pictures soon.

    P.S.
Because I am a laborer class I would like to have my structures reviewed by staff (atleast that's what it mentions on portal).
I know the next level class is not implemented yet, so I am not in a rush.
But my question is, who are the staffmembers that review these submissions?
So far the only mod that replied is iSquared, you have my thanks good sir :)
