Thanks, I'll probably pick them up at some point too.

Yeah. Isaac Asimov is a name I've heard a lot, yet to read his Foundation series of books.

I have read 'The Hunger Games' books 1 and 2 and I am on the 3rd one :D They are SO good, AMAZING!!! And not just for people my age, Columbosaurus has read them and I think they would be suitable for most people who like adventure novels :)

Yep, those are on my "to-read" list. I have also heard that they will be making a movie(s) out of them.

Reading Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay right now. Not the best Ive ever read, but not bad.
If you are looking for something good, you may want to pick up Hawkspar, by Holly Lisle. I was reasonably impressed with it.

Would anyone happen to know of any good horror series of books? In the mood for those, at the moment.

Odd. A friend actually just recommended me to that series just as I read your post.

Anywho. Has anyone here read Stephen King's Dark Tower series? Is it worth buying?

If you are in the mood for fantasy and have plenty of free time, read The Lord of The Rings. This is the the best trilogy ever published, ever! They are like 1000 pages long, but that makes them more epic.

If you're a fan of zombies then you'll love:
Empire - David Dunwoody [Not sure if the sequel is out]
    The Rising - Brian King
    [Sequel] City of the Dead

Some zombie books without a sequel[ect.]:
    Brains - Robin Becker
World War Z - Max Brooks
Berserk - Tim Lebbon [Not exactly zombie but very close]

    Regular, non-series horror books:

Boneman's Daughter - Ted Dekker [Could be classified as suspense]
The House - Ted Dekker [A tad religious, but it's still a good read]
    [Classic] Frankenstien- Mary Shelly

    Some suspense books:

[Classic] And Then There Were None - Agatha Christe
    Thr3e - Ted Dekker

That's all I have for now.
    Hope it helps~

I'm just past half way through A Dance with Dragons, & my favourite character is between Jon, Arya, Tyrion & melisandre.
Because Jon's chapters are interesting & he's pretty awesome, Arya I'm not sure, Tyrion because he's funny, cocky & just all round takes the mik out of people when he knows hell get battered for it, & Melisandre because she's essentially a Pyromancer
