    Just finished reading Angels and Demons which was written by Dan Brown.. it was really good, I was impressed by it. I think I'll pick up his other books.

    So no-one here knows any really "mature" Science fiction book series?
    Anyways, I decided to order three Mass Effect books. I assume most people here have heard of that game series? If not, it's worth checking out. The name of the books I ordered are as follows; Retribution, Revelation and Ascension all of which are written by Drew Karpyshyn.

    There is the central Elves series which is 4 books, and then there is elven knights series ( Same world, diffrent story) with 3 books.

    The Next Eragon book comes out in a couple months. It will wrap up that series. I really enjoyed them. I enjoyed reading the DaVinci Code, and the Symbol by Dan Brown, and My wife has been reading the Game of Thrones books and said they're pretty good.

    Loved the eragon books but the movie about the first book was one of the poorest book movies i've ever seen.

    Time Machine
    and The Time Ships. The 2nd one is by Aurther C. Clark. Epic classic Sci Fi.

    So, I recently purchased a few of the Revelation Space novels: Revelation Space, Chasm City, Redemption Ark, Absolution Gap and The Prefect. I've already read the first two, on Redemption Ark now. Loving it, so far.

    Anyways has anyone heard of the author Brandon Sanderson and his Mistborn series of books? Are they worth picking up? I can get them fairly cheap on Amazon.

    I'm in the middle of reading that series right now. Just picked up the box set with the first 4 for my kindle last week. I'm loving them so far.

    An author I like to recommend to people is Brent Weeks if you're looking for some new reads. He has a trilogy out called "The Nightangel Trilogy" and is working on his second series at the moment called "The Lightbringer Series". Both are pretty good reads in my opinion if you're into the fantasy / sci-fi genre. Although it's more along the lines of fantasy. The books probably start out a little slow in the beginning I'll admit but picks up pace the further you get.
