Results: I left it alone while at school. There is a known bug where it may get stuck while updating. I came back and the updates are completed. I'll play the tutorial and look at it graphics wise.
Further testing today (thanks steph/tump/andy/tran): Off the bat works fine, with the exception of the shop, which will make the game crash if opened. This can be fixed with a patch (https://github.com/A-Metaphysical-Drama/LoL-Linux-Tools) After the patch, everything works great. With exceptions to fps, you can play with the settings to improve it. After a few games I got around 15-20+ fps
Specs
PlayOnLinux: Install > Testing > League of Legends
Configure: Wine version - System (you can play around by adding new ones as well, but this option works fine for me)
Using LoL-Linux-Tools you can patch the game and make the in-game shop work.
The store is a little slow, same for framerate.
Sometimes part of the window on the right is cut off post-game, this can be fixed by restarting the launcher.
