I'm a researcher of horses, maybe I can be of assistance!
Kay
so Horses are actually pretty rare; Donkeys are even rarer. They'll only be found in plains biomes in groups of as small as 4. Keep looking, I'm sure you'll find a group :)
Thanks, I knew that :) In fact I've been roaming the plains I found till now, and on the second trip I finally found them! Also near a Npc villager ahah! I broght home a horse riding it and now I'm taking another horse and two donkey home with leads all 3 together, it's taking ages xD
I already did that first mission. I went around shooting arrows at sheep like a boss. Can't wait for the next update! Hopefully, they'll have mobs like camels and llamas! XD
I was lucky enoguht to find a family, 3 adults and a baby! But I only took home 2 adults to breed them, building my first little stables right now :D Donkeys are the best
Nice XD It's a shame that all donkeys have the exact same texture. Oh, while you're doing that, I'm breeding and tagging successive horses and testing speed, to see how many generations it would take to get a very fast and healthy horse.
Heh, I bred two orses, baby was the same as the parents. Bred 2 donkeys, baby was the same as adults xD Horses are very fast, the first one I got is good as speed, I will make big stables where I found a lot of horses (in the pic) to experiment too :)
Here's a bonus horse lesson for you, two of them actually. 1) Donkeys generally aren't very good at hopping fences (trying to disprove this though.) 2) It seems incomplete dominance is common in horses; when I breed two of them, sometimes I get a third phenotype. For example, if I breed two black ones, sometimes I'll get a brown one.
Thanks I didn't know that breeding thnig! But I saw clearly my donkey jumps less than the horse, he can't get into my garden, he needs his own entrance xD
