    I think that everyone should have ability to place water, craftsmans have meny abilities but paying for every bucket of water and looking for craftsman every time is veery annoyin, who made that idea? its stupid and i think it should be changed, anyone agree? If not tell me why.

    Water is charged for a reason, and only in the craftsmen class so craftsmen have somthing special apart from others. And lava is unable to be placed. This will not be changed, most likely ever.

    P.S - I would sugguest not calling them idiots and calling the fee and class stupid. It was made by the OWNER.

    No pain, no gain. If something is free, you usually dont value it. You want free, play singleplayer creative.

    Because placing water costs dei, it encourages you to be 1) Thrifty, 2) Efficient, 3) Smart, and 4) Practical about where you place water and why.

    As I am not a Craftsman, but instead a Noble (Lord), I use the dei I make from my salary to pay a Craftsman for their services. Everyone wins and it helps with cohesion of the community, as you have to communicate, and lessens the stagnation of the economy.

    I definitely see both sides of the coin on this issue. At first, I thought it was stupid that I couldn't place water... but now I really appreciate the class system because it really adds to the experience. I say keep it the same. Its working how it is.

    it is, however, annoying that sticky pistons, snow blocks, lava, enchanting tables, brewing stands, glass bottles, and other assorted nether blocks are banned. and fire. and glowstone is so rare becuz we don't have a nether, and gold is always sold to pennybags so powered rails are rare too. basically, we want a nether update, an enchanting update, a brewing update, and a different material for the econ plug-in (or just a powered rail shop), plz don't take this as complaining i love the server as is, i have over 2 days logged on time, but it would be ultra-cool if we had this other stuff (i imagine lava waterfalls on the front of my building)

    This argument was not well thought out. The class systems on this server are Awesome. I can't wait until they get opened up to Rank 2/3/4. I think there should be even more separation between classes and more of them. Things like:

    A Farmer Class - only ones who can "plant" things and breed animals (for the person who wants their services).
    A Baker Class - only ones who can "bake" things.
    A Blacksmith Class - only ones that can make armor and swords for people.

    As a Crafstman, I am still trying to figure out how to "make" money. I think breaking up the classes even more would make the server more interactive.

    Minecraft is about building, not about making money... If you want to waste tons of time to search for ppl who makes swords, smellt you ores or plant trees its your choice but i dont have all days to nolife in game world. I just want to share my building skills. And about your ideas for system class then mayby Imdeity should add woodman class (can place wood) stoneman class, toolsman class, mobkiller class, dirtdigger class and more? Mayby in that way game will be more economy styled and you could be rich by digging dirt for someone who can only place stone....

    The classes are made the way they are for certain specialties. Nobility/Political are the ones that run the towns, Merchants (when fixed) are the retailers for buying and selling, and Craftsmen are the ones that can do the specialty blocks and construction like abilities.

    They are set this way for a reason and won't be changed. I don't know why people can't get this through their heads.

    If they would just search like the forum rules tell them to, we wouldn't have 10 of these useless threads around the forums.

    We are not going to allow everyone to place water in the main world.

    If you want a taste of what allowing everyone to place water would do to the server, go to /pvp world and find the places that people have gone crazy with placing water. Water flowing down trees, water all over the mountains, flowing everywhere.

    It's a mess.
