    I think adding on to the mall's decor and making it more indoor would add to most of player's visual appeals to the idea of the mall being a true "Trader's Paradise." Most of us already know all of our valued server hosts work hard enough on other concerns of the community, but this idea of visual appearance can wait until later whenever you have the time to take it into consideration. Also, adding the ability for the traders to customize their own store within the mall would probably appeal to merchants and would give this class a benefit which it is lacking. The merchant class just doesn't appeal to me but i would have chosen it if you would have been able to at least had minimal customization of your own store, but the benefits of the other two classes outweighed the merchant class. This would also add to competition in selling items, like the fact that you may be selling cheaper diamonds but the store right over the next aisle has huge diamond pillars and called Diamond City might sell more than you because of visual appeal to its customers and in general will add much more competition to this profession in the mall. any other errors i dont care about im too lazy and sick to fix it!

    We are making the mall right now in the newspawn world. It is not indoor unfortunately, but there are varying shop sizes, some large, some small. The theme follows a medieval marketplace as opposed to a modern day superstore type thing. When a merchant purchases one of these plots, they are able to customize the interior to their heart's content.

    I'm liking this idea already haha :D I can just stuff things in and wait for my things to sell. By the way do you have to buy the plots or do you rent it and how much would it cost to buy/rent a plot from the mall.

    The mall has been down since the New Year, nothing has happened to it, it's just not done yet. As you can see from reading from the above posts, it's isn't up yet.

    How would you get lost in the mall? It's not that big. Also, I'm not sure how a map of specifically the mall would help in any way. The mall shops are run by different players and they all sell whatever they want to sell in their shop. So it's not like you're going to find things any easier because you have a map.

    And if you really got lost in there, you just do /warp mall and go back to the entrance, or just go somewhere else.

    The mall doesn't work like that. Shops are run by players. Players can sell whatever they want in their shops. No one is going to be required to sell only certain things in any certain area.
