Proper Forum Etiquette

Hello Deitians,

Here a short list of things that can help make your posts into something readable, not enforced, but very useful :

• Try to use proper grammar in YOUR sentences, YOU'RE not able to live without it!
• Use. Correct, punctuation:" . , ? ! " are acceptable symbols at the end of your sentences and in between, make use of them.
• If you quote someone, only quote the part you want to reply to, or if you want to quote the entire 8+ lines text, replace the text with a summary or just "text". It makes things more readable and allows all pages to be equally filled with content.
• When quoting a post with pictures, remove pictures from the quote untill your reply is atleast twice the size of your quote.
• One word replies are hardly replies. There is nothing wrong with using more words to make something more clear, or to stress a part of your sentence. Use your full array of writing tricks, the pen is mightier then the sword!
• The report button isn't just for reporting rule-breaking, post/forum-related requests are welcomed in the form of a report with explanation.
• Use the edit button! You can always improve some things.
• Use the preview function to look at your post, if it's really insufficient it can be removed!
• Bashing other's post is not allowed, be constructive in your criticism.
• Don't use bold, italic, underlined and striked-trough text when it's not neccesary, especially not the entire text.
