Since the 1.3 update, the mining world in unaccesable for many players, and that makes changes to the valute of many items, like Diamond.

Since the 1.3 update, Donators have sold more then 1519/24 stacks diamonds, wich they got thanks to donator plugins, mosly as tools
And the vote for diamond plugin about 37500 diamonds/585 stacks (more or less)

Because many players are not going to mining world, they dont use diamond tools. More diamonds coming from nowhere, less use of them, and their valute is falling. Most merchants are now selling diamond in big quanteties for under 25 dei and if you are lucky you can get them for 10-20 dei on auction.

After the minig world problem is fixed diamonds will rise in valute and then it's Diamond Selling Time.
That means buy diamond NOW when they are cheap and sell them later when the market is fixed.
