Kingdoms 2.0?

    Well i've been rewriting the Kingdoms plugin as there isn't much i can do with classes anymore, and im also streaming the process over at my twitch channel. However many people were questioning what is the difference between Kingdoms and Kingdoms 2.0 so instead of telling people over and over again, ill just relay the information here.

    1) We will be re-adding Nations to kingdoms but they will be under the name of "Kingdoms"
    2) In order to make a town, a person will either a) have to have a nation themselves, or b) get "funding" and permission for a town under the consent of a Kingdom king. Every town will belong to a kingdom.
    3) The Kingdom will be run by a King/Queen and his/her Council Members
    4) Every Town will be run by a Duke/Dutchess (town mayor) who also have a council of Viscounts/Viscountess' (assistants) to help them out as well.
    4) The King/Queens Council will be composed of all the Duke/Dutchess' from the towns that are in their kingdom.
    5) We will be scrapping the variable sized plots idea, and instead have chunk x chunk plots, for simplicities sake.
    6) You may notice above that i used both male/female titles, and yes genders will be in kingdoms as well


    I will append further information later on, however this is still very much in the development stages so things can and will change.

    UPDATE: Deity doesn't like the King>Duke>Viscount hierarchy, and would prefer renaming them to King>Mayor>Assistant......

    What do you think? Maintain the medieval theme or bend to the noobs who don't know tic from tac?

    Maybe King>Duke>Baron? I've personally never heard of a viscount until now, but I think many have heard of barons. I think, if anything we should definitely keep the more authentic names.

    I would love to see King/Queen, Duke/Dutchess, Baron/Baroness. Definitely should keep the medievil theme to it. Although if we are to do that, towns should be renamed to something. Then again, i'm sure they were called towns back then.

    Well, it seems the server is moving towards a medieval theme and always has been. I think it would be good to have continuity between aspects of the server and plugins.

    Definitely stick with the medieval theme, If people have a rough time understanding what is what... well we have a Wonderful wiki that I'm sure will help them understand ^^ haha.

    Everyone I guess will have heard of King/Queen, Duke/Dutchess, Baron/Baroness and it is awesome for the medieval theme. Even noobs will get this one. But Viscount and Duke is not to be put in easily. :) I know all expressions but I played a lot of RPG, read a lot and studied history. My five cents as a non-native speaker...
