Bug Information Thread

I'm making this thread to keep you guys informed of the status of known bugs/glitches that have been reported in xSock's bug thread found --> here <--.
I had to make this one because when trying to add the information into socks thread it was over 10,000 characters and wouldn't save.

There will be 2 other posts in this thread. The first will be a list of the bugs that have been fixed, and the second will be the list of bugs that haven't yet.

If you have a bug that you found, read the 2 following posts and make sure it hasn't already been reported. If it hasn't, then post in the thread mentioned above in the provided format.

Fixed Bugs

• /chest not working. ~ Fixed
• /fly speed really slow. ~ Has been adjusted per donator package and staff level.
• Players not able to get out of water, 'rubber banding' back into the water. ~ Fixed, was caused by an over-anxious anti-cheat setting.
• Diamond voting not working. ~ Works Fine.
• Fishing rods not working. ~ Fixed
• Edge of the region not matching the edge of the world. ~ Region adjusted to align with the generated land.
• Mods not able to tp to players without the 5 second delay. ~ Fixed, ask in /staff if you don't know how to bypass the wait.
• Mayors not able to edit their town info on the portal. ~ Fixed
• Couldn't use enchanting table. ~ Fixed, issue with worldguard.
• /confirm not working. ~ Fixed
• /noble not working. ~ Fixed
• not able to /plot claim, says not part of your town. ~ Fixed 2/14/2013
• Protection from precious stones not working. ~ Fixed to persist through restarts.
• Event sign ups not working. ~ Fixed
• Colored chat works in all chats. ~ Per Deity colored chat is currently only allowed in /tc and /kc until perms are set up to enforce it. ~ Fixed so that colored chat is only allowed in /tc and /kc
• Mods can't bypass plot permissions to research tickets. ~ Fixed
• /sethome is not saving in the mining world. ~ Fixed
• Senior Assistants able to kick the Mayor from the town. ~ Fixed 2/14/2013
• Town Staff able to /plot set in Every town, not just their own. ~ Fixed 2/14/2013
• When promoting town members it says the wrong names to what they are actually promoted to. ~ Should be Fixed 2/14/2013
• /t info and /t info -o display of residents needs to be reversed. Same for /res info and /res info -o. ~ Fixed for /t info, and the 'e' is gone from both.
• /k leave and /kingdom leave returns 'invalid sub-command'. ~ You have to type /k leave kingdomname. Might be changed later to auto-detect the kingdom the town is in.
• /res info total online time calculating incorrectly. ~ Fixed, Moved to imdeity.com/stats
• PvP plots and town warps don't work. ~ Fixed.

 

Known Bugs

• When sleeping in a bed it says 'home set' but doesn't get set as your spawn when you die even if you stay in the bed until daytime forces you out.
• Flying turns off when going over plots you don't have 'access' to causing you to be forced out of fly and killed if you are flying high enough.
• 'you aren't allowed to use pressure plates here' chat spam from stepping on them in plots you don't have 'use' perms on.
• /t help page three voting commands have the same 'help' text.
• Colored chat works in all chats. ~ Per Deity colored chat is currently only allowed in /tc and /kc until perms are set up to enforce it.
• Sprint jumping on slabs causes you to 'rubber band' back and through the slabs. ~ Caused by the anti-cheat, it has been adjusted to make it happen less, but not fully fixed yet.
• /res info total online time calculating incorrectly.
• When promoting town members it says the wrong names to what they are actually promoted to.
• /t info and /t info -o display of residents needs to be reversed. Same for /res info and /res info -o
• Setting the town board doesn't persist through restarts.
• Setting town to private doesn't keep people out.
• Mods can't bypass plot permissions to research tickets
• Town 'access' permissions should be defaulted to 'P'
• When someone /t leave's a town or it /t kick'd it doesn't automatically unclaim their plots (doesn't remove their ownership/access permissions).
• /k leave and /kingdom leave returns 'invalid sub-command'.
• /sethome is not saving in the mining world.
• PvP plots and town warps don't work.
• Town warps don't work if made with a capital letter in the name.
• Item frames aren't protected by DeityProtect.

 

Added a couple updates to the 'Fixed' post. I will update bugs from the bug thread tonight if I get a chance. If not I will within the next week.
