    Ok so I found this thread, and after discovering how bad I was, I decided I needed to redeem myself.

    So as some of you know(barry) i have a recent obsession with planes. Ive made 9 total and Ill post them here over time.


    To start; i have evryones favorite F-14 Tomcat(the plane from TopGun)

    And I have everyones other favorite, the fastest, the coolest, and the iconic SR-71 Blackbird.

    Both of these planes had several challenges, the F-14 had to have sweeping wings, while the Blackbird had to be built in modules because of its sheet size. Lemme know if yall like these, and ill upload more if yall want me to.

    Aight, got another update, this time my A-6 Intruder and the Blue Angels F-18 Hornet.

    Now, these had their fair share of issues and challenges as well. The A-6 was particularly hard to create due to the dual cockpit thing it has. The pilot and copilot sit next to each other, rather than behind/front of each other. This was not fun to do, cause as with all of my builds, it has to be minifigure compatible. Up until this project, I never realized how fat minifigures are, like, wow. As for the F-18, I wanted to make it as accurate as possible, because as you can see, I got the blue angels to sign it. Not all of them got to it, but nevertheless, This is pretty awesome.

    Alright alright, after rummaging through my old forum posts, I have uncovered this monstrosity of a thread and found myself once again compelled to redeem myself for anyone else who may see it. Of the few posts here, the main updates you can see are with my F-14 Tomcat (the topgun plane) Well, I have since updated in once more, for what I deem my most accurate and detailed model. Unlike my previous two variations, this one has functional and fully retractable landing gear, doors and all. It has room to comfortably sit the pilot and RIO and of course, does have the sweeping wings. I designed this one on a program that can best be described as CAD for lego, and printed out my own instructions and have since constructed it in real life.
