    Okay, so I bought a plot. I was building and I dug down by 2, and I saw a a bunch of chests, at least 15. I didn't check them out, therefore it wasn't mine. Once the mayor came around I asked him what were the chests under me, and he said it was the guys things before me, he got kicked out. The mayor told me that it was all mine, and i should sell it or use it, just cuz he was too lazy to transport it. I don't know if I should take it, or leave it there. If I do, is that stealing?

    The chests are yours, its not stealing. + can this thread be deleted?

    The mayor needs to look at that and see if he has complied with the rules. If so and the player hasn't claimed their items after they have been held by the town then technically you can have them. If the rules haven't been adhered to by the town though, then technically yes, keeping the items is breaking the rules.

    I think the safest option would to simply give the items to the town for safe keeping.

    The member of that house is banned and not in the town.
    So he can do whatever he wants with it. We gave him the items.

    If the mayor didn't go by the rules, and the owner wants his stuff back, the mayor will have to provide new stuff.
