    You can down grade your minecraft by removing the new one and reinstalling the old one. I zip all the versions so I can go back if I have too.

    There's a handy tool called MultiMC you can get from the MC forums that lets you store multiple versions of MC on your computer at the same time. I'm a fan.

    You'll have to wait for an admin to do that, should they feel it is necessary. But instead of you yourself making a post complaining about it, mayhap a better response would to be to reported post for spam/unecessary grave digging and comment how you feel the topic should be locked, no?
