    I think the lottery ruins the economy, and gives chances for 1 ticket buyers to win 10,000 dei.
    Me and X920Mikey agree that it ruins the economy, and "grants" people money that they really didnt work for.
    In my opinion i want regulated towns with responsible people, not noobs trying to sell mineshafts and buying 1 ticket and winning 10,000 and being one of the richest people.
    I appreciate van and imdeity's work on it, but in my opinion I disagree on it.

    i disagree with your disagreement? :)

    The lottery adds a certain spice to the game, outside of the normal humdrum survivial play-throughs that many "normalboringold" servers have. Aspects such as the lottery, our hourly/daily/weekly PVP/spleef/mob events, our upcoming reinstatement of the slots, and other unique experiences are what makes ImDeity a fun and well-rounded place to experience.

    In my opinion, there's nothing wrong with a little extra icing on that cake. I like icing, don't you?

    It doesn't 'ruin' the economy in the slightest as no money is being created or destroyed. It is simply a transfer of money from a bunch of players to one player.

    lottery is a good way for new player, who want build a own town, but you need luck and so everyone can be the winner, if you dont like the lottery you dont need to use this option

    ^^^^^^ Imdeity is right it doesnt ruin the economy since loads of people buy tickets and one person wins all the dei, the people bought tickets with. :)

    Usualy the players with the most tickets win, so yeah, if your lucky your lucky, but most people aren't lucky.

    Physics approved calculations:

    - Money in= X
    - Money out= X
    Money in= Money out --> No effect.

    It might actually improve the economy, that's what taxes do, you get taxed, you are more willing to spend your money, therefor the lottery, has a tiny positive effect on the economy.

    I just wish the spam of everyone buying tickets was removed. One person buys a ticket then everyone is like "Oh the lottery i forgot" then i have about 20 people buying tickets up my screen.

    To me,The lottery is A great idea.Its Very helpful if Someone is raising money for a town,Or just trying to raise money to help out there town.I wouldnt want it gone.:p

    If you think about it, you end up losing a lot of money buying tickets before you actually win one. That's how real life lotteries work; you put in 10 dollars continuously until you win the 10,000 dollar prize, but really win only about $20 because you spent so much money on the tickets in the past.
