While i like the convenience aspect of that, i'm worried about the situation when you're trying to split a stack to give someone (or store) a specific amount of it? It would be pretty annoying to have to go into the options to disable the feature just to do that. We're probably best with just sticking with the built in features that do this type of thing for us. Here are the ones i can think of now:

• When you pick up a block the game with auto-add to an existing stack until it is full.
• pick up a partial stack then click on another partial stack and it'll combine them
• if you have only your inventory open you can shiftclick to send items from/to your quick use bar. If there are existing items in the destination then it will combine them.

 

There are already mods that try to organize and move inventory with the push of a button, like the one the last poster mentioned, they don't work on the server.

NoCheat plugin detects this movement and stops it.

 

I'll add something to my todo list for investigating a sort & condense feature that can be activated via a keypress. I already tested inventoryTweaks on ImDeity and it doesn't work, so i'll likely need to find a way to bypass the NoCheat plugin that smc mentioned. No guarantees.. and no timeframes

 

Because I'm sure Deity would want something made to bypass what he left blocked by the no cheat plugin on purpose?

 

It's not the auto armor function that's being blocked. It's the speed of moving around inventory items that is being blocked.

The keyword above was to 'investigate'. By the looks of smc's explanation it seems like the function must process the sort slower in order to succeed in bypassing appeasing the nocheat. I personally can shift-click blocks in my inventory and shoot them to a chest extremely quickly.. that speed should be sufficient in a sort. NoCheat likely doesn't like the 'instant' reorder effect that the other mods have used.

a health bar for mobs doesn't seem like it'd be too bad.. i'll add it to the list, but it is pretty low on priority.

tping to a friend is not permissible on this server unless you donate.

Generating survival kits would be a form of duplicating items and thus would be cheating.

The sitting mod is possible, but again, pretty low on the priority list.

I'm mostly looking to making this that make things on the server more efficient and convenient. Simple cosmetic mods will always be low on my list of things to do

 

while that's doable, i'm not sure it's a good idea. My opinion is that it will encourage people to whisper mods instead of making a ticket. If a mod is afk it will give the illusion that the mod is simply ignoring their request. I'll run it by deity to see what he thinks about it.
