Before anyone says it, no, this is not like Kassial's 'What are you currently listening to?' thread. This thread is mainly a place where you can post your favourite classic tunes from the 20th century. Back then, we had AC/DC, Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong and The Ramones. However, there have also been some memorable theme songs from movies and television. Basically, I'm hoping this thread can be a collection of old tunes so that people can discover ones that they never knew existed.

The idea of this thread is so people can post their favourite songs from the past century since I know most of the players here were born before the year 2000. I could post all of my favourite songs here but I'm just one person. I'm sure plenty of you have your own favourite songs from the twentieth century. People born after the year 2000 are also welcomed to post their favourite songs. However, remember this; post songs only from the twentieth century. I'll post a few to get this started. These are all songs I listen to.

If you post, make sure you have a song link or a video in your post. Also, no chatting here please.

    Oh man, I love music!
    I like....... . . . . .
    Electric Light Orchestra,

    David Bowie,

    Guns N' Roses,

    They Might Be Giants,

The Who, (I love Tommy, it is such a great movie. Weird, but great.)

And a lot of other groups and songs and stuff.
I also added a few more genres, but it seems the amount of choices you can add is limited so I couldn't add a lot of things. Hopefully I covered some of the bigger ones.

The 90's was the best year in music, in my opinion. So here's a short playlist some really well-known 90's rock.

    Smells Like Teen Spirit, Nirvana

    Basket Case, Green Day

    Self Esteem, The Offspring

Man, your post is a explosion of awesomeness and songs I do play for me, GJ.

    I'll post these.
The Jurassic Park theme song. Man these were the films... Everyone must recognize it from 0.45!

The dictionary definition for "Epicness", Star Wars theme.

    The Ramones. 'nuff said.

The time whan dance music was actually cool, sensed, played with real instruments, and had also a meaning.

I'm surprised no one listed any of the early 60's songs, where the music completely changed.
So, we have The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, two of my lifetime favorite bands.

Then, some late 90's electronic music, something that would make you hear today's music in a new way.
DJ Shadow mostly introduced what we call "Trip Hop" and Chill-out Electronic music.
