    I was wondering if there are any items on FTB that are blacklisted. There isn't much documentation for the FTB server.
    Mainly asking about a Nether Star can't find any Wither Skeletons. ​

    Anyone that has played FTB? I know Vershye has had a tier five alter on the FTB server. Where did he get those nether stars. I've spent a bit of time looking for wither skeletons without any luck.​

    a good tip to get nether stars is to make a grinder for them, thou how to get them to spawn and not kill you is up to you, also for spawning the wither make sure your in a place you can easily get to but won't damage anything you care about

    They're not too bad to get, just have to keep hunting. Luckily my group caught one in a reusable safari net tgat we use in our spawner/grinder setup to get heads/bones when we need them.

    Alright I kinda figured they may be a rare spawn, I've got my reusable safari net ready just haven't found em. My team is a two man group lol.

    I've got plenty of room for my spawns since My auto spawner is in a room large enough for ghasts lol.

    Once you find a Wither Skeleton and harvest a few skulls in your grinder. I recommend making a spawn/kill room for the Wither. I built one in a flat desert age, seperate from my home age in case there were any accidents. It is simple to make a small warded room, with just enough space to spawn the Wither and prevent him from being able to hit you. Make sure your warded blocks are at least 2 blocks deep or he can glitch out of the room. I was able to spawn and kill many Withers, rather quickly, using this method.

    Oh, and to keep this post/thread on topic. There are currently no blocked items in FTB. Anything in the MF2 mod pack is available. However, the Chickenchunk chunkloaders and spotloaders have limited capability. They will only cover a small area and do not autoload the an age upon server restart. When the server restarts, you must travel into an age you want your chunkloaders to work in. This is the same for Enderpumps/quarrys as well. This was done to minimize ages from loading when no one is using them anymore.

    Got one, I searched for a nether fortress that was surrounded by lava as to give them more room to spawn In the nether. I got one in less than a few minutes. Best spot for them is more of a spawn area on the netherbrick and the lava taking up space so theres a higher spawn rate on them. Requesting a lock on thread since there are no 'Blacklisted" items.
    I posted a picture of the many Skelly's I'm playing with.
