    i think i heard from one of the mods or admins that more mobs = more lag on the server. so like 10 animals in one spot,..... i cant imagine what horror would happen

    Plus animals are back, you just have to start walking and kill whatever you come across. Animals are more common again, It's just probably not a good Idea to stick them all in one place.

    there are quite a few animals on the server, you just have to look for them. if you cant find enough food then you either need to buy it from a shop or member or you can grow wheat or melons.
    If you are having trouble finding animals, just go /go mine and go far away from the spawn

    It would make farming for food easier, but then it would just kill the server with more lag.

    I'm still a noob and managed to get food before I died without an animal farm. If noobs do die, that's good incentive to learn fast. It all works out right?

    There are hidden spots around the world where animal flock to. You just have to go forth and explore. Two days ago I hit jackpot and wipe out a heap of critters.
    My loot was:
    40 piece of pork
    40 piece of beef
    one and a half stacks of wool

    My recommendation of finding these areas are to look for area with lots of light, dirt and places were players like to hang out.
