Hm, this could be of great service for Lon Lon Ranch, we don't want people getting in and murdering all of our horses... Speaking of, how did you make that gate for Mirasol? The one you had in December to keep out members banned from the town?
Yes deadshot, I've been downloading it every 30 seconds, even at night using a little script I made. @Majora, I basically used someone's alt and then added people I didn't want in town to the alts friends list.
Then I set "use" to "f". Then I placed pressure plates in front of a piston, so when anyone not on the alt's friends list walked onto the pressure plate, they wouldn't activate it and could walk right through.
When an unwanted person walked on it however, it activated the piston, which pushed the piston head upwards. The piston head was in a 2 block high room, which made it so that the person couldn't get past. In order to prevent them from using lag to get past,
I put a row of pressure plates (the more the better, I used about 4 on top of soul sand to slow them down) with redstone under them which all led to and activated the piston. You could even use more pistons to make it work better.
There are just 2 issues with it,
1) Annoying pressure plate spam
2) Town mayor and moderators will still have perms to the plot... so what I did to still allow them in town was add in a second door on another, adjacent plot (both must be enclosed ofc so that the bad people cant just walk out another way). The second plot was by the town, and had an iron door with a stone pressure plate on it.
Since mayors and mods have perms to all plots in a town, they can use that door to get out into the town :) Just make sure its on a different plot, otherwise the bad people would be able to use that door too!
Oh haven't used it to make anything yet, I'll probably use it for the graphics when I write the script to parse all the data though :) First I have to learn some more python stuff though lol
I restructured my markers.json downloader so that it would download them into an easier to get to format. I just learned how to define functions, now I'm learning how to use the json library to easily get the data from the markers.json files :)
You're already learning about database stuff? You already know more than I do xD Oh, about algebra helper: I'm making a new release within the next few months, where it is a stand-alone application on its own GUI. (I'll still be making the version you can use in the Interactive consoles though xP)
