another skin's head. The attempts seem not to be working out. I have no clue, even though I have been told its simple... sure wish I knew how.

I don't know about others, but I use NovaSkin editor for that. I upload the base skin, than upload the "addon" skin, in order to get two layers (seen on the top right). Than, from the base skin, I delete the part I want to change, and on the addon one, I delete all the rest leaving only the piece I want to add. Than the two layers are mixed :)

I just use Paint.NET
I copy the body segment of one file, paste it into the one you're trying to use, then just place it on top of your skin.

ok well first of all, I have a mac, so Paint will not work. Second of all, NovaSkin will not obey to my command... so I'm lost. :P Maybe someone could help me.

I use this one whenever I do any playing with skins. Really easy to use, and you can have multiple copies open so you can do what you're wanting to do pretty easily.

ahem, I asked how to combine and the later on stated that maybe somebody could do it. But if it makes you feel better the software looks cool :3
