yea. If you try to move stuff in last 20 or 30 minutes before update, your items are probably doomed already.

I should have done it a few days ago, I lost at least 5k worth of stuff. At least I don't have access to more than one /v chest, so my losses were minimal.

Yeah unfortunately /chest is a tricky plugin (and one of the few that weren't coded by us). We'll try to get our own, more resilient version before the next major point release.
