    A description of the commands.

edit: only people in this group will have permission to edit your plot. (Break or place blocks) I recommend residents set this permission to Friends or Town Staff

use: only people in this group will be allowed to use items such as doors AND chests. It is important to remember that if set to Public, this will leave your chests exposed to everyone.

Access: this just lets people walk on your plot so it is less vital to have permissions for this but can be very useful to keep people off your plot while you are building or to keep crops safe from players stomping on them.

P: public, anyone is allowed to use these permissions (Recommended only for Access)
F: friends, only people you add to friends may use this permission
T: town, anyone who is part of your town may use this permission
TS: town staff, town staff only will be able to use this permission

What does this mean and how do you use it?

for example: if you were to have your use permissions set to TS then town staff can use your doors and chests but your friends can not

to use these commands type this:

    /resident set permissions edit F
(this would mean only your friends could alter the blocks on your plot)

    /resident set permissions use F

    /resident set permissions access P

I recommend that residents use the above setting until they better understand the permissions settings. This will give the maximum amount of safety for your plot without keeping people out of your plot completely

It isn't explained well about what commands are superior. From my own observations F used on the "use" permission keeps everyone, even town staff from being able to use your chests and doors.

however I'm not sure if setting Access or Edit to F keeps out everyone including town staff. If so then setting to F should let ONLY those on your friends list use the permission type.

Hey Dekendo! I did this and it works great! Not very friendly though. If I wanted to take that protection off my plot how do I do that.
