Its not much of a game atm. You can place blocks and mobs/npcs will spawn every 10-15 seconds but there isn't much of a gameplay aspect atm and the web version of it lags like a boss on my system at least... but anywho for those interested...http://vanzeben.ca/LD24/

Also kass, i have no idea, i was just focusing on building an engine primarily. Once I get this one "finished up" (adding health and a stiah-sponge boss), ill probably move onto some sort of either TD game or turn this into a zelda clone...

LMFAO, if your using chrome i find that chrome tends not to like java and is either extremely slow with it or doesn't run at all, but that just may be me...

That also happens me with from time to time with Java games, although not often, I normally switch to Firefox; seems to fix it.

At first I thought the wee dudes that look like our NPC were actually other players, but then I trapped one with water, haha. Also, does the teleport feature work? If so, anything worth teleporting to?

Placing water close to the sea, allows me access to the sea, cool. ;p

Then I crashed the game by trying to place stuff in the middle of the sea. xD

NPCs were spawning there, so I thought it was okay to do so, haha.

yeah it does, its very developer oriented atm, t to teleport and then enter like "x, y" exactly like that. Also the map doesnt have much on it atm, however it can be saved with v and i think atm if you save it, it should change it for everyone.

Also yeah, it isn't a multiplayer game atm... maybe ill look into doing that...

oh and for those who are wondering,w/s/a/d to move, e will switch blocks and enter will place them...

Nah, I'm playing on Windows. Teleport crashes me, as does trying to press V, haha.

I keep getting this "(You need Java to play this)" but I have Java O.o

the web version isn't very friendly, also i didnt test the saving from an online source.... interested in how it would work, lemme check that out

Alrighty. Those bunnies are actually very very evil, aren't they? Minions from hell. Their eyes at night are so sinister, as are the trees.

Eyes should glow red at night, heh.

The bunnies are just a temporary skin for the moment taken from some online place i cant remember. Same with the player skin, he's from pokemon. The rest of the graphics are mine, hence why they all look like **** :P

There isn't actually much to do yet, Koolstir. I'm just inventing imaginary scenarios in my head; whilst terraforming the land with graffiti.

is there anyway to remove the pesky rocks? Sometimes, you can place stuff over them, but not that often.

The only way to do so, that I've found, is by placing other stuff over the thing you wish to replace.

I didn't actually submit it in the LD competition, I simply didn't have enough time. Started the project 16 hours into it and couldn't finish much past the basic engine in the time remaining... Will submit to the next one however....

Also there is no block removal atm however you can do as kass said, and the source will probably get posted when its done :D
