    Gerry, arkane is just giving helpful advice. That is no where near a great construction in my opinion. I like the idea, but i think it should be a little bigger to be great. Maybe if you built a few more of them, it would become closer to great. I do have to agree with arkane, though, maybe build a little more before posting? If you want to see an example of a great construction, look at valdemarian's thread.

    Not a bad build, it definitely fits the castle Estel style but my one issue, and it is the only one, is that anyone can follow a schematic, a great or epic construction should i guess be original, something you have come up with entirely on your own, I mean i can easily build the taj mahal to the right scale and everything if i have a world save or schematic to work from, but thats just my argument, either way congrats.

    i honestly think its harder to follow a schematic or copy another building, i enjoy just winging it rather than obsessing over getting it exactly how it was.

    i agree with derek u all have no idea how hard it is try it urself before judging and all of the posts from great constructions are riped from other idea's hardly any is self tought of same for val i am sure he did not made it himself entirely i have seen similiar buildings on forums and what i made nobody ever made in multiplayer :)
    its not cobble its not made out of stone no its sandstone allot of wool and lapis so i think its already a great construction.
    Seen all the great construction treads that all suck exept for val's
    p.s btf if u can easily built the taj majal do it try to make any building as big as that im sure u wont succeed on ur own gl in the future prove me wrong:D

    Don't talk like YOU are anybody on this server, be nice, he was giving you adviced and you commented on that rudely.

    Keep ALL your comments to yourself, as they are untruthfull.

    And i do not see the great in this either, it's a small to medium size base/bridge with a small house ontop of it. I do however like the choice of material and the design is not bad either. But it does need alot of work before i can say: "This is a great construction."

    Type castle estel in on google, that is exactly this design and guess what it's available to download, it is simple enough to keep switching between multiplayer and single player to be sure you got the dimensions right and such, I'm just saying that creating something that entirely your own and looks nice is a lot harder than looking at another mine craft map and copying it.

    ok thats too bad lev ill come back later in 2 months when i finnishd it all, its large and huge compared to i used sandstone and all the other greater buildings has 90% stone materials but fine i sense allot of jealousy because all the greater buildings that are look great has already been built elsewhere and are on the mainstream page www.planetminecraft.com i just found it at 2 weeks watching youtube clips.
    And another fact this is Greater construction Guardhouse Castle estel read before u make a comment newbs

    i dont think you have the autority to call people noobs in this situtation here Gerry, they're giving you constructive critism and you're just not taking it well. Take a look from there perspective on what they are saying first and use it for continuing your build to make it better

    Gerry you not been nice here people are giving nice advice and trying to say how your work looks, so build something better, I agree with the rest, look at other great contructions which are huge and ace and you say this is a great contruction - it a bridge with a house with nothing inside on it.
