The ImDeity: Kingdoms Beta server is opening recruitment for the addition of qualified moderators to our current staff lineup.

Overview
Moderators are responsible to ensure that rules on the server are respected and followed. They are responsible for ending disputes and keeping order on the server, eliminating unwanted elements. The position demands great respect to the rules and great care. It is not to be taken lightly. In addition, they will be part of a department which will correspond with said persons skill set to help add to a fluid server experience for its regular users.

Departments Overview
Graphic - Responsible for designing and updating banners, logos, possible merchandise, also graphical content for the website and/or plugins.

Documentation - Responsible for the design of public forum posts on behalf of the server, the maintaining of the wiki and adding new articles on the website, detailed description of ideas and suggestions and keeping the ideas for further working process, writing down the quests content (like what the NPC says) and working the ideas out.

Event - Responsible for the ideas for server events or competitions and planing how they could work and the benefits for winners in addition to running those events.

Programming - Responsible for development and maintenance of plugins.

Construction - Responsible for the construction and maintenance of server buildings (such as the capital) within the game itself.

Requirements for the position
A Microphone and the ability to use it in our Teamspeak regularly - This is important to us as we prefer to talk to our staff. If you haven't been an active Teamspeak user, you are encouraged to do so, so that we can get to know you better. You are not forced to have a microphone, or even be on teamspeak a lot. We just want to make sure that you're a person who is mature enough for this position.

History on the server of at least one month - This is important so that we know that you are dedicated to the server and know the workings of the server and its regulations .

Maturity - This is important so we know you have the ability to deal with people from all walks of life in a manner. We want to make sure you'd be suit for someone in public relations, where you take care of things in a patient, understanding manner

Applicants for the position will be selected both on the merits of their post and on the merits of their demonstrated character in game. We have specific openings if you're not selected don't worry, a position may open in the future for someone of your skill set. 4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator.: I'm a responsible 24 year old who loves to help people out where I can.

5. What can you add to our team.: I have my own private server which runs almost the same plugins that this server runs + more, so am familiar with how they work and most of there limits. I also no what mistakes not to make w/ some of the plugins that can cause server crashes. I'm very responsible and fair when it comes to decisions that involve others.

-> I think i'm responsible. I Like to help people that need help. I'm a active player on your server.

-> I know how the plugins installed in your server works. I know how not to make mistakes that may cause server crash.

-> Yes, I used to have my own minecraft server with Bukkit Software with like 30 people.

4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator?
I have been helping out people without bearing the status/rank of a moderator for now, and I am sure I will keep doing that aswell. I would also like to point out, that I have been an admin in various non-minecraft servers (sa-mp mainly) and from what I have seen, people refer to me as a fair admin. Therefore I am somewhat certain that my "skills" as an admin can be well-converted over to being a moderator.
5. What can you add to our team - any special skills that may be relevant (programming, graphics, documentation):
I am a Graphic Designer by profession (freelance for now) and I am also a somewhat innovative person looking for flaws and trying to improve them. I quite often find myself finding possible exploits, but generally report them to proper "authorities".

In a few hours or so will be in charge of Echelon. Since that will be an exclusive town, I will not have to spend alot of time managing the area there, unlike Hillside, which meant, that I had to work on improving, managing and socializing at all times. But if it is absolutely necessary to abandon the town, I suppose I will be able to cope with that ^^

4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator: I have a strong sense of moral, i don't like people that spoil the game for others. I like this server and want to contribute in making it an ever better one.
5. What can you add to our team: I'm a programmer (vb, c#, java, delphi, quickscript etc..) and i know databases (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL: PL/SQL, T-SQL etc...), i'm a fast learner and i have a "logical" brain. I see solutions faster than normal.

Please mention first: I don't want to have some crazy rights in game or be a moderator for minecraft it self (for now, as I don't meet the requirements). My main idea is to get this homepage better, as I thought this would be the best thread for something like this, I put my application here...

3. Hours of the Day you're usually online: I got time, I'm online. Thats it. As you could see, it was much time the last days. But theres school, a sidejob and a girlfriend => they need time and they are more important than something else for now...
4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator: Because I could really help to make this site look nice, as I'm a webdesigner (hobby and current job).
5. What can you add to our team: As I'm a webdesigner (hobby and current / future job) I know to make designs and code them in PHP, MySQL(i), PostGreSQL, Javascript and more. If mentioned to use me for server moderation I could even do that, as I'm fast learning. I already worked with WoltLab Burning Board, Contao, Joomla!, phpBB, Drupal, Mambo, IPBoard, vBulletin, InvisionBoard and some more, currently watching the progress of XenForo.

I've been playing for a long time and providing help to everyone although i have done some things i regret i have reported bugs before they could be abused and generally have been a nice guy and entertaining but i can be serious also i havn't been playing a lot for just fun i have been getting bored a bit and i just feel that i would like to help people instad of just sitting around

Side Comments: I find this to be the best server ive been on. It is well organized and very fun. i find it a privilage just to be able to part in it. but to be a mod, that is a whole new level. If there is a minimal age limit please tell me because i want to see if 16 is acceptable. Keep In Touch.

I think it would be a good learning experience for me, and in the present, and future, it may help.

6. Your age: 16. Please don't let age be a deciding factor. I am a mature young adult, that is capable of keeping things under control, without loosing temper, and I always look on both sides of the situation. I examine problems that arise, and use the best, and most effective way of solving it.

8. Have you been a staff on a Minecraft server before (not required)? Yes, I have. I used to run my own server (admin), and deal with everything that happened.

9. Have you used Bukkit Minecraft software before (not required)? A little. I used to use Hey0 most of the time, but recently started using bukkit.

10. Are you in a town in game currently? If so, which town and would you be willing to leave it if selected? I'm in the spawning city. If I was picked to be a moderator, I would be willing to give up my land and resources to others, just to do the job.

Personally, (im not sucking up) your server is the best I have played on before. I would like to give you credit for what you have done for everyone. Even if I don't make it as a moderator, I hope this application will at lease give you a better idea of who I am, and what my judgements are.

4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator. I have experiece with moderating minecraft servers as I had my own i moderated for 5 months. I am good with dealing with issues that arise, and try to approach problems with a non-bias opinion.
5. What can you add to our team - any special skills that may be relevant (programming, graphics, documentation): I'm a freelance graphic designer and i have experience in web design. IE: Template Design, Logos, Coding etc etc.

4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator: I think I should be a mod because I love helping people out and always see stuff on the server that needs taking care of when other admins aren't on. I also will be willing to help out any new guest to the server and show them around. For instance, today there was a huge argument about religion that started a flame war and offended many people. Thankfully, prwraith took care of it. But if no admin was on, thats why I feel like I should be a mod, so I can help people and protect the server.

5. What can you add to our team - any special skills that may be relevant (programming, graphics, documentation): I am an extremely skilled computer user and am very good at modding, mapping and using many programs. I can use multiple programs such as Photoshop and I can make graphics as well.

Note: This is the best minecraft server I have ever been on. I was one of the very first users to ever play on it and as more and more people are joining I feel that the server may need some help. I would be very helpful to the players and protect the server by watching for griefers. Being a member of this server already means so much to me and so far it has been a great experience. I would be honored to help out other players and make it a great experience for them as well.

2. Time on the Beta Server, Your Initial join date: It was a few weeks ago in March that I joined. I can't give you an exact date at this moment...
3. Hours of the Day you're usually online. We don't want an “I can be on everyday” just list your usual hours: Monday Thursday - 3p.m. time till about 5pm average. Friday - 3pm to about 4am if need be... Depends on if I get kicked off/tired/whatever... Saturday and Sunday - Depends on what I'm doing these days... sometimes I can be on all day, other days not till about 7p.m.
4. Why do you think you should be a Moderator. It would be interesting to be on the moderator side of a server this big. I have moderated smaller minecraft servers in Minecraft Classic, although the server I moderated on allowed for those /z commands (can't quite think of what the mod was).
5. What can you add to our team - any special skills that may be relevant (programming, graphics, documentation): I am good with both Mac and Windows PC's (currently on a mac till I can afford an ASUS laptop). I'm not fantastic but pretty good with photoshop, and I can send you a link to the image I created for the skin to my iPod Touch.
