Ideas for traps in a pyramid

Hey guys I'm building the great pyramid of deity in the wild and planning to make a pharaoh maze in the pyramid with lots of traps ideas i already have is an arrow wall hallways and a pit of cactus. If you guys have anyothet ideas for traps please post below if I think your idea is good enough you can try the chamber first and get a small 7 dei reward

 

Pistons when they move drops lava on your head.

 

no way to place lava. it is disabled

 

Pistons when they move drops you into a chamber along with water and then you step on another piston that closes above you and you drown.

 

a button attached to a t-flip flop that switches pistons that makes u fall on cactus with lava underneath :lol:
or
a button attached to a t-flip flop that switches pistons that makes gravel/sand fall on u
or
mc-edited sand, a sign that says "break a sand block for the treasure" and the sand, either makes u fall down in lava, or make the sand fall on you

Wait, isn't the wild reset every week anyways? Won't this all be erased?

I do appreciate some ideas thrown out there I have implemented some of my own but it is not done yet so if an other people have ideas please please pm or post here

I've built a pyramid o' traps before and one of my favourite traps was the drowning trap. The only way to complete the maze was by passing a 2 wide pathway completely covered with pressure pads that, when stepped on, would close the walls behind and in front of them and release water into the hallway, thus drowning the victim. The trick was, you had to sprint across to finish, but most people tend to be timid about it and just touch the first pad. The roof has to be 2 high so that they can't jump over the pressure pads.

 

maybe make some sand to float and get someone to step on it and have a long fall to there death

 

well you could make closing wall suffocation traps.

or you could use the pistons to shift blocks around, making the maze even more confounding.

you could have a narrow walkway that drops off to a deadly fall on one side and have some randomly moving blocks of sand be the floor (theyd fall off the edge, and occasionally youd have to empty that out unless you had a mechanism to destroy them when they landed) so if they arent careful they will fall or be pushed off the edge.

or, to punish without killing, you could have places of the floor open up and drop them in to a lower level of the maze which is all cacti. they navigate that maze out to the entrance of the main maze again only to hope they dont fall again.

 

I have some bad news my pyramid was griefed to the extreme and will take a long time to fix. So the maze will have to be put off

 

Why not write a /ticket and have a mod or admin repair the damages in seconds?

I just want to thank xSocK for fixing my pyramid I still need to fix the signs and the door and finish the maze but my great construction will be complete

 

How about you walk on a pressure plate and you fall into a pit of creepers or zombies or any other mob.
