Veligrad race track

Quick and easy Rules:
1. There is no specific time or date, you can try it any time.
2. Ride a horse around the course through all waypoints and record your lap time in a screenshot. Post a screenshot in this forum thread. If you cannot post it yourself, ask someone to post it for you (people in local chat range can see your lap time). Both directions are equal.
3. Every month, best times in specified categories will be announced and rewarded.
4. Categories are:

- Slow Class for horses up to 9.9 blocks per second
- Medium Class for horses 10.0 to 10.9 blocks per second
- Fast Class for horses 11.0 blocks per second and faster​

5. Swiftness potions are allowed, remember that they may push the horse to higher category.
6. Prizes may change every month.
Current prizes are:

- Slow Class: 1 Saddle
- Medium Class: 1 Nametag
- Fast Class: 1 Gold Horse Armor + 1 Saddle​

Veligrad race track is a horse-racing course using town streets. Start/Finish line is located on main street, with waypoints spread around the town and marked with numbers 1 to 4 in both directions. There are very few crossroads so you can memorise the course quickly.
You will, however, need your own horse and you will need to get it to Veligrad. Use road from Doha or from Czechpoints around the capital perimeter to find the Guardian statue, and then south/west over bit of desert. Once you have your horse here, put it in Guestables - a stable for visitors. You can teleport there using /t pwarp Veligrad guestables

dotted line is the course, waypoints are marked with numbers. Arrow poiting to the road is the direction to the road system connecting Veligrad with the world.

A suggestion how to mark waypoints if you are going to build a track in your town:


If you are fine with this black/white look, bring me empty white banners and i will copy you numbers.

And for start/finish line, a checkered flag/banner is a must. Example of mirrored banners for left and right side.

Veligrad uses green color. What color does your town use?

EDIT: After some training, i was able to beat my own time by 0.005 seconds on a slower horse

Try resizing the image in some image editor, or use another website where you can put larger images. Next time shrink your minecraft window before screenshotting so the image file will be smaller.
