asdfjkll's (late) 3 Year Anniversary!

Intro: I can't believe that I've been on the server for 3 years. It seems like I joined the server yesterday for the first time with a small wooden house village in /wild back in the insta-growth bonemeal days. Let's begin with the progress of this latest map on my third year here.

The Story and Projects:
The map started out with small villages about the size of current Oslo and Honeyvalle. Some towns died out, while others grew up to be the metropolises they are today (not as big as last map's megatowns of Doha, Anvil, Eclipse, and Crystalguard). There was no road system in the beginning, but began growing to a complex system over the year, with the loop around spawn completed in December 2015. I was in Doha once again, and helped out develop the town and created my two districts: Metford (premade house community) and Shamrock Hill (a gated community comprising of only quad plots). It was also then that Doha's western freeway beltway was constructed in phases, and the construction and opening of Doha High School back in March, which was bigger and more secure than the old school last map.

It was also in my third year that my collection of alts began. It started with asdfjkll2, when I wanted to start a town but didn't want to leave Doha. On March 14, 2015 (which also happened to be pi day of the century), Bluewater was created, and the first houses sprung up in late March. In the summer of 2015, I got asdfjkll3 and JoinDoha, asdfjkll3 joined what was then Heaven, and JoinDoha became a comayor in Doha. Bluewater grew to around 80 residents, and stayed that way through marching band season, when I became a little bit inactive. When I came back, two of my assistants (MidnightDingo and T9pain) became active again and the town grew up to its current population of near 130 residents. In January 2016, JoinDoha became asdfjkll4, and I got JoinBluewater (which will be the new comayor alt replacing JoinDoha), and then what was then JOHN_CENA town got put up for sale by Michael_Jordan. I bought that town with asdfjkll3, and renamed it Niceville, and currently building medieval houses there since it is a medieval-themed town. That same week, asdfjkll4 (the old JoinDoha) re-created Avalon, an old town from the 2011-2012 golden ages (before I joined the server). The towns of Niceville and Avalon, as well as the minigames and events in Bluewater were part of my 2016 Population Count Improvement strategy, which is my plan to try to keep players a bit more active through daily events and minigames and to bring back a few server vets through the comeback of a select 2011/2012 town.

My Current Projects for 2016:
Avalon: Design and Construct local streets, grow the town, etc.
Niceville: Continue developing medieval houses, with a close cluster around the Commons (the area of Niceville where the spawn is), a enclave of high-end medieval houses for those wealthy merchants and nobles (thank you BarryX15 for creating designs for them in /creative) and scattered about houses elsewhere on the island Niceville inhabits.
Bluewater: Complete golf course (HaydoJ designing last four holes), more minigames, complete airport, increase population count to 150
Roads: Construct a continuation of BarryX15's cobblestone road to Oslo, with a deviation/bypass around the east side of HoneyValle. Work includes replacing a ford crossing between a savannah biome and plains biome with a bridge with the same style as Barry's other bridges. An asdfjkll "CzechPointPlus" will be constructed at the south end of the bypass at the intersection where the old road and the new road split off at.
Joshbmxstar's Ayres Rebuild: Combined construction effort by me and MrGhoster, the west and north wings of Ayres central building was completed at the time of writing and the dome is under construction. Construction of the outer portions of Ayres will begin after the main building is completed. The construction of the famous MrGhoster dome around the entire project will begin soon and will be progressing during the next few weeks.
