Before I begin let em say I think this goes here, as it is a suggestion, but it is also for creative and I have seen some suggestiony things in the creative threads...(maybe a suggestion thread specifically for creative would be a good idea...).

I would like to request the ability to create our own player heads in the creative server with the ability to give other players our heads as well. (mainly because I was personifying up my creative build and noticed how creepy amillion steves is). I will now quote a Mr BarryX15 with how he thinks it should work (and I, as well as others who were on at the time, agree with this idea).

"Use /c head or something that would use a /give command and it would just give your head=you would be asking friends to bring theirs."
that would probably require some extra coding in order to give us use of the specific command, but i personally think it would be a good idea in order to add that much more detail to our creative plots.

Once again, this is a suggestion for the Creative server and not the main one, the craft recipe for it on main is fine as is but would not work efficiently for creative.

Bunch of likes but no feedback other than that, any thoughts by those who disagree? Or add-ons/why you agree by those who like it?

and still no feedback on this, like, literally noone who can do decision making has commented on it in any way (or anyone who doesnt do decision making for that matter). Like, does noone have thoughts on this (i find that hard to believe)

I think it's a good idea, but perhaps a way to verify someone's permission before using their head? I feel like some people would be creeped out by randomly seeing their face on an unknown player's plot

As said in Barry's quote, you would only be able to get your head, you would have to ask others in order to get theirs. (That is, if it's possible to do that...)

Thanks for bringing some concerns, i should rethink the original idea. Unlike survival, one player head in creative can be placed again and again thousand times, then given to someone else and in the end a player could really see their head anywhere.

(Paying Dei for placing a head is not an option here as there is no economy in Creative)

    Easy restrictions:
    - player can obtain only their own head with /c head command.
    - player can place their own head anywhere (e.g. regular plots and group plots where the player is owner or group member).
This means player heads would be seen mostly in group plots.

Allowing various player heads in regular plots would need another more difficult set of restrictions.

I feel like allowing the use of player heads is an alright idea. Barry's easy restrictions sound pretty good, I like the idea of a person only being able to get their own head to limit others placing their heads without their permission since that seems to be a concern.

One thing that might be a cool addition is the ability to spawn in decorative player heads (link to a database of some). They can add interesting details to people's buildings and I guess somebody might like that kind of stuff. Perhaps a good way to implement this would be to pick heads that would be useful to build with and include them in a command like "/c headlist"?

For example if I used /c headlist to pick something out it would show me that we might have a mini cactus block available, so I'd use a command like /c headlist cactus to get the player MHF_Cactus's head.

Is the efficiency problem you mention there the crafting idea as a whole or just the head recipe in specific?

I have just imagined that, using the recipe plugin, we could easily allow players to craft heads intuitively and without any complex coding:

Want to craft your own head? Say, place 2 Steve heads in a crafting table. It would be a quick recipe, much simpler than what we have in /main (because having an expensive/complex recipe for creative is pointless) and also guarantees that only the player can craft their own head and give it to others at his discretion.

We could also add quick and shapeless recipes to Mojang's MHF decorative heads: Steve head + Cactus = MHF_Cactus head; Head + Cake = MHF_Cake; Head + Cow spawn egg = MHF_Cow and so on.

Some would need some more 'creative' recipes, like the arrows and question mark heads, but overall I believe it is a simple and efficient way to allow players to use custom heads in creative.

It was the recipe itself that seemed way to complex for creative, the simple ones you mentioned would be pretty efficient for creative
