    Attention Deitians! Aesir Kingdom's capital city Skyhold proudly presents the first Build Off of the 2015 map!
    The buildoff will be held in the Winterfell district of Skyhold (the southern district) during the month of April and May. Why are we telling you this now? Well, because the month of March is for Sign-ups, build planning and material gathering!
    The judging panel has been filled. We have 7 judges which include 1 Skyhold resident, 1 mod, and 5 players from towns other than Skyhold. Thanks to those who volunteered to be judges for this buildoff!

    Here are the details:

    1. The Dates:
    ~ March
    Gather Materials for your builds
    Develop ideas for your builds
    Obtain a plot to store your materials by replying to this post so that we can assign one to you.

    2. The Prizes:
    First place - 10,000 dei, 2 Enchanted Picks (1 Silk touch and 1 Fortune 3)
    Second Place - 7,000 dei, 1 Enchanted Pick (your choice of Silk Touch or Fortune 3)
    Third Place - 4,000, 2 randomly chosen enchantment books

    3. The Rules:

    ~ Entry fee of 300
    ~All server building rules apply with 1 exception..your build must be within Skyhold building code. This means your build can be built from 1 block above the surface all the way to build cap...it can NOT touch the world surface!
    ~ No griefing of other participant's builds. Any griefing will result in the griefer being disqualified from the event. Log blocks must be done so proof is available.
    ~For added points, builders can use some (or all) of these materials in their build along with other materials:

    Snow
    Blue Glass
    2 Chiseled Stone
    Item Frame
    Spruce Leaves
    Wooden Fence
    Packed Ice
    Stained Clay
    Dyed Wool


    If you wish to attend, please reply to this post with your in-game name so that we can keep record of who wants to join and start getting you all some plots! If the turn out is good enough, we will continue to do these events within the town and possibly even in other towns within the Aesir Kingdom! Hope to see you all there!

    The build is in "Winterfell" so it will need to look "wintery". However, that is as simple as putting snow all over everything. We dont want to put too many parameters on the builds..so cant touch ground, must look "wintery" when you are done.

    We are up to 6 participants...while it is enough to have the competition, I really hope more will join in the fun and try for their chunk of the prizes!

    As for having friends help you build...I agree with Rihue, having a friend to help you build is not fair to those that would do it solo. Maybe in the future (provided these build offs become a popular thing...I may hold one where we give a larger plot size and have a Team Build off event. But this would be later down the road. For now, please build on your plot by yourself so that all participants have the same level of fairness. Thanks.

    Ok folks, for those that have already stated they wanted to participate, we will be giving out your plots in the next 2 days. Once your plot is given, the ONLY thing you may build is your platform (flat). Do not Terraform the platform or anything..you can only place chests to store your stuff on the plots until the buildoff starts. This will provide you a place to start storing your materials!

    Havent put your name in yet? There is still time! The longer you wait, the less time you have to gather resources for your build! Hurry and get your name in the list of participants!
