Minecon and beyond! Which car would you choose for a road trip?

    Hi there guys, i am planning a bit of a road trip. Originally the idea was to fly to Europe but now with Minecon dates released, i am thinking of postponing the trip so i can be in London for Minecon and then go to Europe for a roadtrip.

    I am in a bit of a puzzle regarding which vehicle i want to drive with style.

    So basically help me choose between the following
    • Bentley Continental GT (my favorite so far)
    • Aston Martin DB9
    • Bentley Flying Spur
    • McLaren MP4 Spyder
    • Ferrari California
    • Porsche Panamera
    • Lamborghini LPS 570
    • Jaguar XKR-S
    Just a short list for now, if you have any other ideas for a beautiful ride then let me know and i will see if i can hire it,
    And which color of course? let me know guys

    If you're going to do alot of driving i'd go with the Bently Continental GT in White :p
    Otherwise I'd say Porsche or Ferrari

    True that Danny, My choice would be the Bentley because of the luxury aspect.

    I dont need to boast about my libido, however this looks fun but extremely uncomfortable xD

    Yes i am definitely coming to Amsterdam. The question now is when will i be there?! maybe in july after minecon instead of june now, i mean i have so many options right now, i didnt even know minecon dates had been released till like 2 hours ago.

    Worst case scenario i come to amsterdam in june anyway and we can continue with the original plan, but this july minecon/eurotrip idea is new and stuff could be juggled maybe.

    Most of this depends on who is coming to minecon, because that is in London this year, and i have to go to that, and time off work is limited, unless i win the lottery, in which case time is on my side.

    I would add a name to the list. Jaguar F-Type. It's fast, it's both a coupe and a cabrilet, it's British, and it rumbles!

    I'd pretty much recommend two cars from your list:
    -The McLaren MP4-12C Spyder,because it's a great-looking car, it really is comfortable, drives like a charm, and the best thing of them all....
    It's a Spyder version, so you can feel the air in your hairs! As of the color of it, either a velvet red or the classic McLaren orange.

    -The Lamborghini Gallardo LPS-570 though, is my personal favorite, but for a roadtrip, I'm not really sure, since the car is performance-oriented more than roadtrip-oriented. The only things I regret about it, is the gas pedal being way too stiff, it's like trying to push a brick and the suspension seems to be made more for a racetrack than the road. Yet, the response of the car is amaazing, the look of it will make heads spin, seats are comfortable, and the sound is just.. yummy.

    Some more cars I can recommend:

    Sports car
    -McLaren 650s
    -Audi R8(for more performance and a better sound, look up the V10 version)/Normal or Spyder version
    -Ferrari 458 Italia/spyder
    -Ferrari F430/spyder
    -Porsche Cayman GTS
    -Porsche 918 Spyder(I'm not sure if there's some available for these types of activities, but that should be in your top list!)
    -Nissan Skyline GTR (Latest version)
    -Austin Martin Vantage(I'd recommend the V12 Vantage or the V8 Vantage S)
    Sedan
    -BMW M4 coupe 2014
    -Audi RS5
    -Bentley Continental
    -Aston Martin Rapide(in the same orientation of the Porsche Panamera)

    I'll keep looking up for more cars if you want ;)

    The only thing though, how did you plan your roadtrip? I can recommend you many cars, but without knowing what you have in your mind, it can be a bit hard ;)

    Loving those cars that made it on your list! I particularly like the McLarens and the Ferrari 458 Italia. They look amazing. Or maybe a Lamborghini Huracan?

    The Huracan is probably the most road-friendly Lamborghini they made so far, so yeah, that can be a good idea! I actually haven't thought of putting it on my list, haha :)
