When I go to the mining server/world it is more often than not incredibly laggy. I'll be able to mine several blocks and collect them, then I'll mine several more and nothing will drop then I'll get rubber-banded back a few seconds and the blocks I just mined will re-appear. It also becomes an issue when trying to attack mobs, as they won't take hits/won't move at all for a few seconds when the server lags.

It's like the server is constantly playing catch-up. I know it's not me as my connection is fine and I'm running on fibre-optic. The main world never has issues for me. It's been like this since i've joined the server.

At the time of writing this people in the server are saying they are actually getting booted from the mining world and losing their inventories.

    Hi Veralis,

I just went on the mining world and had similar problems. I believe the issue is that lag like this happens due to some database issues regarding the mining world. Long story short some optimizations will be done in the next few days that should tag care of this lag. In the mean time I'll send a message to deity on teamspeak and see if he can restart it as a short term fix.
