Trade Outposts

    Not essentially a serious suggestion as Deity has bigger fish to fry, but i figured i would throw it out there and see how everyone would feel about this possible idea.

    What if?

    We had 4 "Deity outposts" in line with each corner of the capitol and 4 more halfway in between the corners, these would not be near the capitol, they would need to be a good distance from each other including the capitol.

    They would essentially be 8 small Deity owned trading posts.

    At each "Deity outpost" We would have access to market stalls and a replica of the Deity shop, especially to buy horses and all Equestrian related paraphernalia. (ImNieghity Inc)

    But here is the interesting catch, we removed the ability to warp to the shops, so players would have to ride their horses to the malls. This would mean that donkeys with chests would get extra value as they increase your capacity, imagine a player riding a donkey, and holding a few more leads attached to a train of donkeys all with chests, now that would be a comical sight to behold.

    People could still meet at /main or at any public /t spawn to trade face to face, but for the most part players might ride from shop to shop in order to find discounts, others might just ride to the local shop.

    I am unsure if this would be practical or not, however i am convinced with possible tweaking it might make the kingdoms plugin more unique and interesting and give players 1 good reason to ride and explore the map on main a lot more on horseback. It could enhance role-play 10 fold because other players could be hired to act as an escort to clear the road of mobs ahead. You could end up with some pretty interesting wagon train movement if players would want to do that sort of thing.

    Shops will be awesome still without warps because traders can offer good prices to customers in bulk, that being said donors can set their homes at the shops if they wanted to.

    But the merchants would have to travel to sell their wares to other shops, which would mean in order for them to rank up their class via selling goods, they would need to ride between different markets in order to find the best deals, this could potentially create a lot of demand for travel on horseback/donkey which would obviously be fun.
    But consider it and let me know if you think its a cool idea.

    I like the idea, but I don't think it works under the current mall setup. For example, mall blue is just 200 some blocks away from spawn, what's to stop a player from just going /spawn then running to the shop. (Granted this instance is over water but still) I like the idea, but I think think with the current mall setup it simply won't work.

    Yeah, its not meant to run with malls at the spawn, but replace them.

    What if we would get rid of all ways of teleporting?

    Okay, i admit it would probably not benefit the server at all, lets soften it:

    What if we would keep town spawn/warp and player shops teleports too, but we would spread Deity Shop to various places around the capital?
    - Ocean is perfect place for some underwater shop with prismarine and sponges.
    - Have you ever been to Dwarven ruins? Would you expect some gold tools being sold there? Or powered rails?
    - We have some apothecary houses around the capital, well suitable for brewing stands and brewing ingredients.
    - There is something what i called "The nether reactor" although it doesnt react with surrounding environment. Well hidden, good place to make nether stuff super exclusive.
    - Thieves guild... what if they trade mob heads or even mob eggs?
    - Horsemarket. There is no better place for selling equestrian supplies.
    Spreading various stuff into several places around the Capital (maybe even having two or three shops with the same item for different price) would effectively prevent people from setting /home at one place and push them to really explore the Capital.

    Having themed shops in different places on the map or around the capital sounds wonderful to me. I would like it if i had to explore the capital again, i still get lost almost every time i go there, i just have not spent enough time remembering the layout, although a lot of it is familiar to me.

    The last time i went to the wizards university post reset, was the first time i had been there for a long time, so i was trying to remember the route and ended up tailing someone else who was on the way to it.
