    Hey all,

Inspired by Deer's thread, I decided to also tell my own stories of how I am where I am today. It'll likely be a long read so you can read it however you want. I don't want to babble on too much to introduce this so let's begin....

    Finding Out About Minecraft
It was around April 2011 when I first heard about this nifty game called Minecraft. I was a 15-year old kid at the time that spent a lot of his times watching YouTube videos and enjoyed gaming, so I tended to be around that side of YouTube. I stumbled upon a Minecraft video by a game that went by zXNoRegretzzXz, who I came to call Kevin. I watched how he went on adventures, built really nice creations, and everything about the videos were interesting. I really wanted to try this game out for myself and did around May 2011.

    Noobing It Up
Now, I won't lie to you all and tell you I bought the game right away. I won't say the method but I was able to play without purchasing at the time. I was a cheap and broke kid, so I thought why not.

I played some single player for a good while and I loved it. I don't know what it was but the game fulfilled my inner needs and desires. That was until one day I was minding my own business and stumbled upon a different creature of sorts. Now, I've seen this creature in videos and what it has done to other people but being me, I wasn't very afraid of it. We all know this mob as the Creeper or back then I liked to call it...OK, I won't mention that, however, I was just in my little brick house I had built when suddenly it somehow found its way in my house and it blew everything up.

I sat there for a few minutes wondering what just happened. I'm not even exaggerating when I say I was thinking about how a mob in a game can literally just wreck me in ways beyond belief. After pondering it for it a little, I hit respawn thinking it'd spawn me somewhere close to where I was but no, it didn't. I spawned in the middle of nowhere...After that traumatic experience I no longer wanted to play single player ever again.

    Let's Play Together
I took a few days off of Minecraft and was playing games like Madden and Call of Duty: Black Ops since I was pretty angry at this game. When I got over it I decided one day to introduce this game to my friend Alex and he decided to play with me. Many won't know him but he went by UnownTLM and we played on this server together for a good few months.

I at the time knew how to run a server but my internet was way too slow, so I showed Alex how to run it on his PC. He started the server and we began playing. We had a lot of adventures and fine moments but one sticks out to me, and I'll admit, I was a really bad friend for this. I'm actually in tears, the good kind, reminiscing about it.

It goes like this: Alex and I had our own little town on the server. With the server setup plugins that allowed us to have a shop, we were able to have money, and lots of cool plugins that did a lot of other things. I forgot for him to install one plugin but I'll mention that later. In the town it was actually an interesting design. It's hard to describe but we had a big tree in the middle of the road and 10 blocks each direction was space for a house. Mine was south of the house, his was east. We built really big and nice houses spending hours upon hours fine tuning the looks of them. I had a 3-floor house with a basement, a balcony, garden, driveway, business offices behind the house (lawl), and a dog house to the right. Across from my house I had a doge (yes doge) house full of doges that I each loved equally. I don't remember too much about Alex's house but it looked better than mine but I was proud of mine still.

We each had our houses until this happened. Alex liked to troll me and being me at the time, I personally didn't like it too much. He loved to place water bucket over my roof just to piss me off. I'd take it off and then he'd put some over my dog house. I built a little getaway underground because he pissed me off so much I didn't want to see him in-game (lol). It was one day where I had enough and decided to get my revenge. Here's the most important part of this: his house was built out of logs. And at the time I didn't know about the ramifications of what was about to happen because I was too pissed to think and just took action.

I decided to spawn some lava buckets and pour it all over his house. It wasn't just one, I literally poured a couple or so to where it completely covered his huge house. I waited for him to notice and when he did he freaked out. At the time I actually didn't find it funny, but thinking back, holy crap it was hilarious. Instead of being smart, he decided to just yell at me for the minutes it took to burn down his house. He was furious and I told him hey, maybe you can roll it back. And this is where I pissed him off even more. I told him to install Big Brother, a plugin that let's you rollback actions done by a player. Thinking it would work I was feeling a little better...

He installed Big Brother and we tried rolling back but it wasn't working. He was getting more infuriated by the second and then I noticed how we didn't have logs. It clicked that we can't rollback because Big Brother doesn't even know what we did in the first place. I told him this and he just completely went berserker and poured lava buckets all over my house, all over my doges (RIP :(), over my offices, literally anywhere he could and he said now it's even. I didn't feel it was even at the time but he was right looking back.. We eventually helped each other rebuild our houses because we were best friends and messed with each other a lot so we always got over the antics we pulled on each other. Don't let games come between or ruin friendships guys and gals.

That to this day is one of my fondest moments in Minecraft and I wish I had recorded it for you guys to see because it's absolutely evil but glorious.

With that, however, I'll end this here for now. Tell me what you think and if you want more! Thanks for reading!

This should definitely become a thing, much better than forum games. I'd much rather read fun stories than scroll past hundreds of responses or whatever.
