Welcome to my thread of ideas and suggestions! This list of ideas/suggestions will be updated over time, and they will be edited when I get feedback/more ideas that would add to the suggestion.
1: Trading Quest XP for bonus items
This is a rather pointless suggestion, but I think it wouldn't be too hard to set up and it could give players something fun to do with there quest XP. With the quest XP you get from voting(If you still do that) and quests, why not have a special shop were you could trade some of your quest XP for spawn eggs(All but horses) and maybe a few dozen types of fireworks. The only way you can currently get spawn eggs(besides horse eggs) is on Easter(From all I know) and you could argue that that makes spawn eggs a valuable item, but besides putting it in an item frame, there's pretty much no use for it. Why? Because since you can only get them(Not counting horse eggs) on Easter, there's too few to hold mob pvp events or something like that. But picture that every week, if you vote everyday and get 3 quest XP per vote, that you could get a spawn egg of your choice(All but horses, if you haven't gotten that yet). You could also exchange fireworks for quest XP, maybe 32 or so rare types. Because fireworks are so expensive and hard to make, you almost never see them used.
This suggestion doesn't really have a point except to bring something new and to give quest XP a real point for existing. Though I no knowledge of code, I can't imagine it would be very difficult or take a long time to implement this.

    2: Deitygames
Yes, I know there's dozens of threads out there about this but I have a collection of ideas that I think would work.
First of all, Deitygames, from what I have heard, was shut down due to lack of players. One way around that is doing something like /war and using player made arena's instead of just one standard arena. Another thing is to "randomize" loot that would be in chests. I remember that there would ALWAYS be this chest with overpowered loot behind a waterfall in the original map. But if loot was randomized, it could be the iron sword one game and in the next a wooden or something else.Maybe it could set it that loot would have a percent chance to appear in a chest, for example,
    Iron sword 12%
    Bow 30%
    Wooden sword 45%
    Instant Health Potion 15%
    Stone sword 20%
    etc, etc,
And for map size, I would say about 800 blocks from side to side in a square, though to counter its massive size, it would have a shrinking boarder. Lets say that after 45 minutes of gameplay the entire map would be 32 by 32 blocks. And it wouldn't require a plugin to do this because its a feature in 1.8. "But how would a normal player fill in 640000 square blocks of space???" My answer is pretty simple: /z & a dozen hours of dedication. The reason it takes so long to make a
war arena now is because it all has to be placed by hand, but if we had /z, I bet to make one it would take maybe 2-3 hours on average.
"But we have war! Why would we need another hourly pvp game???" Well, we have a currently non-working Games portal in the Hub, why not put it there and give players a choice on if they want team or free for all pvp. There could also be a prize of maybe, like it was when Deitygames was running, a prize of 400 dei if you won. If their was a prize, random loot, and a dozen maps, I bet it would do as well, if not better than war. "But what if there's only 3 people in the game and the
winner got 400 dei!?!?" Well, it would need maybe 25 players online and signed up to start, and the amount of players playing could affect the amount of dei you could win. Lets say if just 25 people are in when the game starts, you could get 300 dei, if 35 people were in the game it would be 400 dei, and maybe 60+ would be 600 dei? What do you think?
In summery, player made arena's, randomized loot, dei prizes to the winner, and a shrinking boarder.

3: A PvP upgrade, I already made a thread on this --> here <-- but almost nobody noticed it, I would still like some more feedback on it

4: Voteing on war maps to remove
Good things don't live forever, and why not creating a monthly voting thread for what war map to remove that month? I think this is a simple idea. Players don't like a war map --> Vote for it to get removed --> A war map gets the most votes to get removed --> It is removed. This would also be one arena per month so we always have at least a dozen arena's and it gives players enough time between maps getting removed to make new arenas. For example, the poll might look like this
What war arena would you like to be removed
    Arena 1: 4 Votes
    Arena 2: 6 Votes
    Arena 3: 2 Votes
    Arena 4 12 Votes
    (etc)
In this example, Arena 4 is voted out, the arena is removed and replaced by another arena, all other arena's are untouched. What do you think? Would this be a good idea? Do you have anything to add to this idea?

You do not think the same as me, and you could find problems with these ideas. I will add and edit my ideas over time and I would love feedback & suggestions.

I just thought of some questions while reading this:

I'm a bit concerned with the shrinking arena. If a player is in a area that will be shrinked down what happens to that player? Or will there be something that makes the player realize they shouldn't be in that area, like lava.

So when we vote we get 200 dei and 3 quest xp. So far right now does quest xp have a use? And I don't see why we would need spawn eggs. If we need a pig we go get one. Just being able to buy mobs seem useless.

I think voting war arenas out would seem good. Keeping people interested and happy that they have a say in what they play. However I see some issues with this:

    1. Say a player spent a lot of time working on a war arena and they are very proud of it. Other people may not be happy with it. And it gets voted out. All of that persons work is gone and they aren't happy with that.

    2. I don't know how many people are making arenas but if there are not enough arenas being made then what. Do we just skip a month of voting?

    Thanks,
    Hat

The boarder (If using the 1.8 world boarder) Would get pushed away from the boarder

Zero uses for quest XP other than upgrading your rank

"it could give players something fun to do with there quest XP" Besides farm animals, your going to have a hard time finding other animals

    1. Maybe the mods can give the arena to you in a worldedit schematic or something?
    2. We have 40 arena's that can get selected. We could go over 2 years without making a single new arena and still have some arenas to play.
