    Thanks so much, I am a fan of this material combination also! :)

    The hanging things are called spot loaders, they help keep areas loaded. They're super useful if you cannot be in an area 24/7 and you need to have things regenerating(nodes) or growing(farms).

    Some of my new house:
    Here we have 3 teams of Golems working non-stop harvesting & gathering wheat. The wheat is fed into a Cyclic Assembler to make bread. Which is then fed into a Furnace to make toast. From there, via Tesseracts, it goes to 3 different distribution chest. One in my house, one in our town, and another close to spawn in overworld.

    Next we have above and below views of my Infusion Alter. Still adding stabilizers. Not sure if 186 of them is enough...

    Then we have my power generation. So far, 3 blocks of Magmatic Dynamo generators (112 per block). And starting on two blocks of Bio-Fuel Generators. Eventually plan on having 544 generators total.

    Why do I need over 43000rf/tic. Well for a variety of machines including a pair of laser drills.

    Sorry to hear that you got raided. Our town was hit once, so we moved. Since FTB is not protected, it can happen. I brought lessons to this server that I learned on PVP. Always have a stash set aside for rebuilding.
    The other nice thing about FTB is that it doesn't take much to get you back on your feet. Keep a few generators, some tanks of fuel, and a set of machines in a strongbox. Also, moving into a Mystcraft age helps. But be sure to not leave the book/portal where someone can access it.

    Yeah, if my base was raided I would be extremely surprised. People always complain about being raided, but all you have to do is be more secure. For example, getting to our base involves going through our unhidden nether portal, breaking one particular block on the ocean floor, following a path, and breaking one particular block in a cave to get to our mystcraft book. We haven't been touched since nearly the beginning of the map. Granted, out mystcraft world is eternally raining, but it's the price we pay for protection.
