April Fool's Day Update! (3/31/14)

IT'S APRIL FOOLS DAY OMG!!11!!1!

Just kidding, it's the day before. At least for me. Anyway, here's a list of what's been changed:

Misc.

• Apparently, /c report didn't exist, it does now.
• Added a message informing the player how to request a promotion after claiming a level 1 (personal) plot
• Had a little logic error on my part:

DisableAnythingSystem
The DisableAnythingSystem allows mods to disable just about any feature in the plugin. Right now, it's limited to pretty much commands only , but later I'll expand it so other things can be disabled.

Context: A while ago we had a problem where someone was creating plots when they weren't supposed to have the permission to do so. This caused some panic and time, and I frantically tried to find what the problem was. All I really needed to do was flip a boolean, but I didn't necessarily like the panic that ensued.

Now staff can disable commands or even entire command groups. They can also disable certain commands if they use certain data like PlayerData or PlotData. They can be re-enabled just as easily.

This is all done without a restart being needed.

Idle Plot Clearing
This is going to require some explaining cause I know people will be like “WHAT?!1?!11??! #YouSuck #iHateTakeo”. If you actively visit the Creative/Events server (for building or events or what-have-you) you have nothing to worry about.

If a player has not logged in (visited the EventsServer) for 2 months (length of time subject to change at any time) then their level 1 plot (not the group plot) will be unclaimed.

Plots are cleared daily.

EDIT: this will take affect at a later date. I'm investigating an issue with it.

April Fool's Day
So seeing as it April Fool's Day... I (of course) have a surprise. It's nothing that big, but it's there. (mods have an extra treat). You have one hint: "Words"

New Cuboid Limits! Yay!!
Cuboid limits have been LARGELY increased. By how much you ask? This much:

• Level 3 – 250 blocks (+1000% from 25)
• Level 4 – 500 blocks (+715% from 35)
• Level 5 – 1000 blocks (+2000% from 50)
• Level 6 – 20000 blocks (+2666% from 75)

 

Wow the cuboid is actually useful now! (Not that it wasn't really be for,but the small amount kinda killed the purpose)

 

Yeah, we found that the larger the plot, the less useful it actually was.

 

Is it the /joker command that was on the classic server, that when you used it one someone it made them say random funny things?

 

Kinda, you don't type a command for it though. Hmm... What else besides the chat has words... (Won't work anymore, it checks the date for April 1st, better luck next year! ^^)
