    I'd only be in favor of this if you can't buy any of the high value items with dei (see my earlier post). Otherwise, you make some players OP that, frankly, do not deserve it. If they want to transfer money to get the biggest pile of porkchops ever, then fine.. but they definitely shouldn't be able to buy stacks of TNT with it.

    Not really, the reason why players have a lot of money in pvp is because of voting, once you vote for main/town/whatever, you get some money in pvp as well, since people don't really use money there, it stocks up. Allowing players to transfer this money to main would only multiply the money we get from voting, most would just come to pvp to check their balance and transfer it back to main, that wouldn't really make them stay for pvp. Disabling voting money on pvp (to solve that) would force people to spend /main money on it, personally, I'd never do that.
    As Btarb said, the oppose might happen, nobles or vendors , who get lots of money in main, could move to pvp and, with no effort at all, have heavy equipment, or just spend it on stacks of tnt and give away to their friends who actually do raids.
    In general, people ask if they could move money from main to pvp just because, at that very moment, they need it, but I believe it is more likely to be abused/unfair than helping players.


    Spawn: I like the idea of not being able to return to safezones, a simple 2 blocks fall would solve it. The main reason why people camp at safezones borders is because they can safely return at any moment, if things goes wrong or, even better, when things goes right. Some people just expect 2 heavily equipped players to fight and scavenge the items from whoever died, or luckily the winner will end up severely wounded so they get some easy (high-end) loot, I have seen that many times.
    Without the certainty of a safe return, most would not camp there, I could even name some players who, surely, would not be there if that was the case.

    For /wild idea, I agree in parts. /wild is good to scatter players around the map and make a quickstart, no need to walk all the way from spawn through other players but, since /wild spawns cover smaller areas, these areas would be heavily griefed and filled with traps, even a complete blockade is possible. Also, main world's wild areas are regenerated from time to time, dunno if that could work the same way on pvp.
    And for shops, I like the way they are now, the unsafe travel to them is good for pvp. I used to play on a pvp server and I liked how tense it was to travel to the shop, risking being raided by bandits, I see it as a role-play feature and I believe that is the intention. From my view, it should become even more 'hardcore', with players being able to sell items to the shop, so that camping raiders would be a constant fear and a gameplay option (for the meanies xD ).
    Since some don't like it, we could have a 100% safe shop at spawn together with risky ones outside, with much better prices/special items for those who take the risk of leaving the safe zone.

    Sorry, I wanted to comment a bit of everything that caught my eye so far :p

    I really like everything driver said. I'm in favor of the 2 block drop at spawn.

    I'll be writing a /wild plugin for the mining world very soon. It will put you at a completely random place anywhere on the map (safely, of course). We could easily use this at pvp, but i'm not sure we should. I can see it being abused to find bases: /wild, check map for bases, /wild, repeat.

    Even though it sucks to have to walk across the map, i think it's the right thing to do. PVP should be as close to survival as it can be. No extra conveniences or handouts are necessary.

    Another extra thing to add on to Driver's brilliant idea is that when your tagged in Combat you can't /spawn or /f home until the time runs out. Also, that the Combat time be a little longer. That way players would actually think twice about going into War zone and not just simply sprint in circles and then /spawn. And then we could probably get some actually serious geared fighters at spawn and not Trollers that tp at first sign of danger.

    I really liked the arena from the previous world, but I admit it provided some problems. What if we had an arena in the new world that is accessed via portal or a command like "/arena", and you were spawned into a random spot within a simple oval arena(Pretty large arena hopefully)? To exit the arena you would have to type something like "/spawn" and wait 10 seconds without moving or being attacked. I think the problem with the old arena was people camping the doors or not letting people in, so I hope this new arena could eliminate those problems. I really dislike the current pvp world for the sole reason that I can't find anyone to easily pvp with, a problem that would be solved by having an arena. Thoughts on a new arena for an easy way to find opponents?

    You mean similar to the arena in the 'Arena Village'? Which has automatic doors that only open every 2 minutes for about 4 seconds.

    And you can spawn out as long as you're not in battle.

    Well... First of all... I think the pvp map should be bigger... a lot bigger... There could be a sign that u punch that teleports you to a random part of the map.. so there can be no 'spawn campers'.
    I like the mob spanner idea though :3 that would be cool. You could buy spawn eggs or even spawners.. or what about just being able to pick up spawners when u mine them? (Idk if there is a pluggin or whatever for that... but.. im just saying :D) this would be good for farms and protecting your base... I don't like the buying with minerals idea though :/ I don't feel Dei is used enough in pvp or main... and shops at spawn would be a good use for it...
    Also..
    I was thinking...
    I don't know the reason slimes aren't in the server (lag?) but in pvp slimeballs are a necessity for traps and secret door ways..! It would be good to have them back... even at a low spawning rate...

    Well idk, it currently has a radius of 7k, and I'm certain that most don't go past 3k. And there are really only two things you can make with slimeballs, so perhaps sell Sticky Pistons at the admin shops?

    Being able to buy spawn eggs and spawners would just create too many op players. There would always be those players who farm xp for awhile and come out with op armor and think their King of the World. Anyways, I don't think Deity is going to allow the power of Spawners into the pvp world. Would create too much lag and op players.

    I think that we need "more" op players. I play on the pvp server, and I know that there are only a few people with op armor and swords. It happens to be that most of those people are in the same faction. That faction has been on the top of the food chain for a long time. If we had more op people, it wouldn't allow one group to become more powerful than all the rest.

    Since the mobs at a mob spawner despawn if not killed for some time, I don't see how there would be any lag, unless there were 100 players using the mob spawner at the same time, which is unlikely because we never haven't had that many people online in a really long time. The chance that everyone online is using a mob spawner at the same time is also really slim. So I am all for the purchase of spawners.

    I also think that the map needs to be smaller. At most, the pvp server had about 30 people online. So it's really hard to find people far from spawn. I no longer have the sense of urgency to keep guarding our base in case of a raid because the base is really far from spawn. I think that the next map size should be the size of the last map.

    One way this may be changed is by the new hub entrance to pvp, giving players an equal choice and view of the server. More players=more chance of good pvpers. Besides this you cannot artificially make OP players, there just need to be more dedicated people at the beginning of a map.
