Quick Build Grand Opening!

This is just a quick announcement that I will be attempting to hold my first Quick Build competition tomorrow afternoon (Sunday, October 19th, about 4pm eastern).

I will update this post with more information/rules later this afternoon/evening after the PvP Event (/go pvpsignup) has completed and I finish testing that everything works for the Quick Build.

Sorry about not getting this up last night. We went out to the Halloween Haunt with my kids and got back real late so didn't get a chance to put it up.

How It Works

1. All players that want to participate go into the "holding area" to the right of the warp point.
2. 4 players are picked at random to participate.
3. All 4 players are assigned to their grid.
4. The covers from the center boards are removed.
5. The players 1 at a time, 1 through 4, shoot an arrow at the board choosing an option from their side.
6. The options are revealed 1 at a time and the arenas are adjusted as needed.
7. The Theme of the build is revealed and the 20 minute timer is started.
8. You have 20 minutes to build something that goes with the theme.

Judging

Judging will be done during the 5 days following the Quick Build.
A poll will be put up and the winner will be chosen by the players of the server by voting on this poll.

Prizes

I will also have a winners board that I will continually update next to the quick build area that will list the players that competed in each round and the winner of that round.
I will periodically be holding Tournaments out of the winners of these matches.

As long as everything is working (server/minecraft/internet) I will still be holding this today.
