Cloudbirth-Looking for new ownership.

Hey everyone,

I know what your probably thinking, "Oh my, here he goes again, adding to his list of selling towns!" But I am here to give someone a chance, to run their own town and make it a success.

I bought Cloudbirth a while back, and it was bought with the intention of keeping it private and having it as a personal storage. The reason I bought the town was because I didn't want it to fall into someones hands that would just take away the materials from spawn and ruin a beautiful building. But during the months that I have owned the town I have realized that by keeping the town in lock-down is just as bad.

Therefore, this has led me to here. I have never been short of money or materials while being on the server but I do know that many of you have not been as fortunate and would love to own a town but simply do not have enough money.

I would like to give you the chance to make Cloudbirth a success and to give the new mayor a kick start I will be leaving 5000 dei in the town bank, and all of the buildings will be kept as they are.

If you would like to be the mayor of this town I would like you to post at least a paragraph saying why I should pick you. I will give it a week or so to see if anyone is suitable then I will switch the town from my alt account DannyTinyMe to the new leader.

Hopefully, this goes well and Cloudbirth can be the town that people want to be a part of, thank-you for reading this thread and I hope I can make someone a very happy mayor

I can be a good mayor for Cloudbirth, and I shall attempt to explain why:

I used to be a town mayor on another server for about 6 months (That server reset, and I didn't really want to restart), so I've had alot of experience with being a town mayor on Minecraft servers. I was also the mayor of the wealthiest province on my server before it went inactive.
Secondly, I'm pretty good at building stuff in Minecraft (if you want, I can show you my old server), so I can build some nice houses for people to buy, which should keep the town's economy flowing nicely. I can also build some simple, yet attractive buildings rather quickly if needed.

I have never been a town mayor. I know I am inexperienced but I would love to own a town I would be able to help all the new residents as they come in to the town. I am currently a member of Anvil it has been such a great help to me. Now that I have been helped I would like to give back help. I am online regularly and I have been on ImDeity for a while and it would be a great opportunity to be not just a town resident but a town Mayor!!! Personally I think I am a nice guy and If I get the town I hope my residents think that too. I think that I could create a nice community for Cloudbirth and I hope I can take it to be a great big town full of people who love Cloudbirth. I am not the best of builders but I believe that you don't have to be a great builder or a great pvper I just think you have to care and help!

Sad to see cloudbirth go away. Its going to be awhile till I plan to get a town, but if I change mah mind, I will come here.

I have a friend, _SilentMan_, who is fairly new to the server. He is a wonderful friend who just recently joined ImDeity. I think he would be a wonderful mayor, for he has always been there when I needed him, been a great person to talk to when I am feeling down, and a great person all together.
Now, you may be thinking "Why would someone give a town to someone who just recently joined?"
To this I say why not? He knows a lot about towny, and a lot about the server (I am almost constantly talking to him about it), and of course so he could do what he loves most, to build.
To me, I would be honored to have such a great person to have such a nice start to a wonderful server.

 

Not to be mean or anything, but you would let a new player who has no experience with a amazing town?

 

Naha is his friend, therefore it's somewhat like Naha would be a co-owner due to the fact that he'd have to help Silent since he's new.

 

Also, just because Silent is new to the server, doesnt mean that he doesnt know anything about owning a town. He has plenty of minecraft experience, and I have taught him alot about the server.

 

Naha's friend may be new to deity but he has probably played on other servers running towny (other servers don't run kingdoms) so maybe he has been a king on one of those We simply don't know

I'd like to apply to send an Anvil assistant over to cloudbirth to bring it back to full glory.

Anvil has done this before with towns, if I am not mistaken you were there to witness oceanside being brought back to life. We'd add the town to the genesis kingdom, ensure that all town expansions are continued with the landscape, minimal to no terraforming involved. We'd introduce industry to the town to bring wealth to its residents by opening a lon lon coral there, moving a construction company to the town to be based there, allowing for town residents to aid in builds and material gathering. And we'd up the town's recruitment. With cloudbirth and Anvil the Genesis kingdom would be able to provide a town for anyone, be it a natural landscaped small town, or a flat bustling city that stretches as far as the eye can see, it'd all be under the name genesis, and it'd all be financially secure, you'll never have to look at the town you once saved fail taxes.

 

I never said that I was giving it to a new player, I'm giving everyone the chance to apply but I would prefer if the player wasnt the mayor of a town, sorry Mach.

Ah ^^ I would apply because I like Cloudbirth so much, but I have a feeling I wouldn't win for my past experiences with towns, and the fact that I've owned a couple, and now own none .

But what the heck. I don't want the town to own a town, I don't want it for power or for sale, I want it because I like how Cloudbirth is. It looks beautiful, and the building scheme is great. The scenery around it makes it, though. I know you know what my past is, I know you know what I can and cannot do and have and have not. I don't play as often as I used to, for whatever reason that may be, but I would love to have something I can just work on without a pace.

I typed /t spawn Cloudbirth a long time ago, one day, and instantly fell in love. I wanted to own that town and I /t infoed it to see who owned it, unfortunately I think he was either afk or I knew I had no shot at obtaining the town. But the town turned into my dream-town, what I wanted my town to look like. I know I didn't have the architectural skill to repeat the main building, however.

This is a good way to do it, Moobs. You have my word that I would not sell this town. If it were to leave my presence, it would be the same way you're doing it. Thanks for the chance.
