    Hey, I recently found a MC minigame thats different and fun to play, Hide and Seek. In the game there is a seeker and 23 hiders per map. The hiders all become a relevent MC block for that map. The seeker is armored with iron and has a diamond sword with to find and kill the hiders. All found hiders become seekers and points are rewarded by the total time that hiders had remain hidden and each hider that a seeker finds.

    That's how you hide. You are turned into a random block while you are marked as a player that is hiding.

    so its like prop hunt except you dont eliminate those you find?

    It's exactly like prop hunt. Except you have to be a block. And you do eliminate the people you find. Although, I don't think you get to pick your block.

    the blocks are randomly assigned. you must hold still for 5 seconds to become the block exactly though. you can kill the seeker, but they respawn. when you die, there is a timeout, then you become a seeker as well

    I watched a video on the hide and seek game a few days ago and the first thing i thought of is 'wow this will immediately suck as soon as people learn the maps'. Since you need to do this in a house-like environment, you'll be limited on maps.. and people will learn then quite quickly. It also looked pretty boring from the Hider's perspective. Sure you run around for about 10-15 second while you find your hiding place, but then you literally just sit there for 5 minutes while the seeker tries to find you. You don't move or turn your head for fear of tipping him off. So.. 1 person has fun.. 20 other sit there motionless. My opinion is a big yuck.

    The hiders can turn around as long as they don't stray from their block. Also, they get a knockback wooden sword after a few minutes. One of the things I've seen them do is gang up and kill the seekers XD. Another way is they will click buttons or flip doors nearby to tease the seekers. For each seeker you kill you get like 10 points whereas for each hider a seeker only gets 5 points. There are open area maps as well, kind of like a large courtyard. Each map is like 64 X 64 so there is lots of hiding areas and even if you spent a lot of time in a certain map it would be hard press to remember there was only 3 wooden posts in that area than 4 or whether or not that flower pot was there up on that shelf last time just to name a couple of examples.
