Dear Mods

You can calm down, this isn't one of my typical threads, it's actually quite the opposite. I'm going to say something the mods don't hear often enough, Thank you. On this thread, I'm going to post all the good experiences I've had with the mods, and feel free to comment with what they've done to help you and I'll go ahead and add it.

Gwenhywar - Being extremely nice and helpful. Whenever I have questions you are there to answer them, or have issues you are there to help find the problem and properly address it. There's one thing I can definitely tell, you care, an extreme amount, and you're care and effort makes a difference. Thank you for continuing to care and try after all the years you've been on the server.

2ndofafew - A great mod and friend, I feel comfortable talking to 2nd about server stuff and other things as well. He takes every persons thought into consideration, no matter who the person is. Thanks for coming back after all this time.
Arwenden - Nice, wanting to help, and unbiased. I've only talked to you Arwen a couple of times, but you were kind, and compassionate. Thank you for making the players feel wanted and accepted.
FrauDummkopf - Honestly, I haven't talked to you much, except for one time in teamspeak. You are fun, but still able to do your job. Thank you for bringing a light mood into your Sr. Mod job.
iSquared - Nice guy, haven't seen you on much recently, but you were nice and kept a lot of things under control with bans etc... As well as simple chat. Thank you for showing commitment to the server.
Leviathan_Ziz- Levi=Forums. No Levi, no amazing forums, what else is there to say? Thank you for having the most posts on the forums and keeping them active when needed.
Vershye - I know you get a lot of grief, much of it from me, but you are a good mod. You've stuck with the server for a long time, and you've kept it in tact, with additions, handling the events etc. Thank you for being EXTREMELY committed, and helping to make the server what it is today.

Fatd33r - A nice guy, does his best to handle chat, as well as minor issues, you seem nice to me, and really do show that you want the best for the server. Thank you for caring.
Lord__Xemnas - Perhaps the most unbiased mod I know. I feel comfortable talking to you Xem, and even though we've had disagreements, I still feel I can talk to you, and that you will respect my ideas. Thank you for being there to help.
Pescotti - The reason the server is together. Handled countless bans of minor incedents that aren't much, but together could be the downfall of the server. Thank you for keeping the server together.
SaintThunder - A nice mod, willing to help, as well as wanting to help. Saint's the kind of guy, who I feel would go out of his way to try to help the server. Thank you for being so dedicated and kind.
SweetMaple - Sweet's super nice, I haven't really talked to you much Sweet, but I would feel comfortable going to you if I ever needed anything. You seem very caring, like every person is your favorite. Thank you for being equal.

All of this being said, my thread is more than just a thank you. We have agreed that mods are players(except for Levi, not really sure what he is) and we are aware you make mistakes. So please, if/when you do, apologize, please. It makes a big difference.

The same goes for us players, if we make a mistake, call us out on it, instead of waiting and waiting and then throwing us a ban. But try to show some respect to the mods. They deserve it.

But overall, you've done a good job, and I thought it was about time that somebody let you know that.

 

I agree. Sure, staff can be a little hard to work with sometimes, but they still deserve a thanks for their awesome work and tolerance!

 

The mods are really good people, I think this was a well needed "pat on the back" for them They really do keep the server together, despite the pressure the players put upon them!

 

I cannot say how much I agree with this. I think the mods have been getting too much flak recently. It's nice to see this here.

This thread is amazing!
It's good to focus on the good things, instead of focusing on the negative. The mods are great people, and yes they have their hiccups ,sometimes, like we all do, but in the end they're helpful and kind.

 

That is an understatement: Vershye is an amazing mod. He seems to get a lot of unnecessary hate from certain players whom I won't mention and someone once said that people see him as 'a kind of monster' but we all need to remember at the end of the day, he's only doing his job. He is online at odd times (from my perspective) and it's clear he isn't merely being AFK when he keeps the loose cannons from getting out of line.

Like say, we drive over the speed limit and get a speeding ticket. Then, we hate the police for giving us said speeding (most people would know what this song is). However, who is the cause of the problem in the first place?

Are you trying to start a fight about which mod is the bestest? They're all k, and if you start picking favorites this thread will die stupidly fast.

 

Now that you pointed that out, its kinda your fault.

 

I have to admit, if it weren't for the mods this server would be... really, really bad.

SweetMaple - You do a lot for the server, and you should be thanked for that, i heard you talking in ts, and i hope some of the irl stuff you said about gets better for you soon

 

idk what your talking about. Vershye and Sweetmaple abuse me everyday in our TS Channel, The Naughty Corner. I mean, its called the naughty corner I shouldn't get grief for being naughty there Gold Star for Staff. ;P
