Skyblock Suggestions

I think that the skyblock world could use some improving. First, I think that it is kinda boring having to mine up all the cobblestone. Mabe you could put a stack of cobblestone in the starter chest. Secondly, I think that I get kinda lonely being out there on an island alone in the middle of the sky. Mabe you can put a command that allowes players to invite people onto there skyblock island. I would enjoy that. Lastly, I think that the skyblock idea is a good one. I think you could put more things in the spawn area. Some people that like to hang out in the spawn get board and leave the server. Mabe put chairs and a fake TV in there. If you could help with any of these things, it would be much appreciated. We have everything you posted, except the cobble. Give cobblestone would take away from the authenticity of Skyblock here.

Although it happens to be where 20-50 people seem to be every time :/ (some afk some not)
Would it be possible to add in a small /pvp plot inside the hub, or just make a room next to it with pvp? Just so that the younger players can enjoy whacking each other during the 5-10 mins break? I think it would be a nice solution for players who do not enjoy the repetitive aspect of Skyblock, while not taking too much programming effort.
(I guess there isn't K2 on /hub right?)

 

Maybe add a little parkour puzzle in the /spawn? I know that would be fun, everyone likes jumping puzzles!

 

Perhaps maybe a shop of some kind for the items that can't be obtained normally in a Skyblock map, such as diamonds or redstone? I know that most people will say that giving diamonds would make it too easy, but in all fairness, most mob "factories" made by players are the sudden death drop type. Very few people, myself included, actually make it to where they keep a sliver of their health (for rare drops). The server(s) is/are set up in a way that when a player votes, they get 200 Dei on the main server, and 300 Dei on the PvP server. Perhaps adding iConomy (200 Dei a vote?) to Skyblock with a shop area for rare/normally Skyblock unobtainable items will increase Skyblock traffic a little? Just an add-on to this "suggestion".

 

Im sorry but whenever im put in the skyblock island i never realy know what to do. Is there something specific that im trying to acomplish or is it justthere so the server can updat or whatever?

 

Following what you said, here they are. Note that some of these can't be completed as the sand island that is normally in Skyblock v2 and the Nether aren't available. Impossible goals in ImDeity Skyblock are in bold and marked with a * symbol.

I'm not entirely sure if challenges #8 and #17 are possible or not, because I can't remember if we got red/brown mushrooms in our chest on ImDeity Skyblock. If we do, then they are possible. Vice versa if we don't.

 

What you can do to speed up the cobble process is make the generator, but replace the block underneath where the cobble forms, with a sign, then stand under it and leave your mouse pressed down with your keyboard. The sign stops the lava/water flowing down, and the cobble drops through to you

 

I do like the idea of inviting others.

I'm going to have to say it seems like the point of skyblock is to provide a spot for the players to be while the main server's under maintenance... why provide a challenge to the players that would rather be doing something else that the players don't want to face?

 

I agree. Adding the pvp in it would be nice

 

Well, hub is no longer skyblock, but a free (no factions) pvp world

 

Kind of hopes it stays that way I love this new hub. No rules PVP? With mods trolling? Awesome!
