    Hello everyone,

    Would you like to have an art section on the forums, to post your minecraft skins, creations and whatever form of appropriate art that sprouted from your or other peoples minds?

    Vote here, this is supposed to be a survey to see if an art section would be usefull.

    I think it might be helpful because people could use 1 post for ALL their art. I could post my texture packs and skins and just art. That is why I think it would be helpful.

    Also it would be way more helpful and fun for the players, in my opinion that is.

    This idea is very helpful!

    It allows the people of ImDeity to show their creative side, showing the world what they have done, without getting bad comments against it. Just feedback of what people think of it. For me personally this would allow me to get some feedback towards my real life Art and Photography towards my career, and also to advertise my Designs thread for my signatures and wallpapers.

    Like mbon, i think it should be a sub forum. Maybe rename the events forum into misc. and have all creative arts things and events added there?

    I find an art section would almost be required for a playerbase such as this. Creative minds abound, especially on a Minecraft server, because what type of game is Minecraft if not creative?

    That would be a great way for artistic people to wether get known a bit (or a lot) more,share their creations,have opinions from others (wich is a good thing, as it can be constructive),and many other points that I won't get into, as I am sleepy right now.

    But I am wondering something: Will it includes writing in it? I know it's an art, but still, we never know.

    I really like the idea of an art section on the forums. There already are some art threads which can show proof that such a section would be used. I think it would also encourage artists/creative people to post some of their stuff if they haven't yet(I know I'm for sure one of these people that would love to share some of my projects). Obviously in addition this would be helpful in an organizational way by creating a place for the various art threads that we already have. :)

    I have wanted this for a while, and my reasons are just like that on Arwe's thread. People could hold competitions, people could have a place where their signature threads would be noticed, aspiring youtubers could get their stuff out easier, and it will inspire so much more creativity. Maybe even a section in it could be dedicated to your 'Minecraft art', such as builds. I just really like the idea.

    In my opinion an art section would be useful because it will inspire more people to show their artwork, things they created, etc to the imdeity community. Also people can get more feedback in the section to help them improve their work.

    Yes there is general discussion but so far in the general discussion the most popular threads are questions, games, info about you, etc and all the art threads, etc are not getting noticed since their on different pages (people maybe tend to not scroll through pages to look) but if there was an art forum section, all pages will be creative/art threads and there more space on the front page of the section. So they would get more noticed.

    There's a great amount of graphic artists or any other forms on this server.
    I don't see why there isn't an art forum already, seeing as many have voiced their hope for the swift addition of the forumsection.
    Yeah, this would be great. So I could look at all the beauties.

    I think having a spot to post player art would be a great idea. It would allow everyone to showcase their skins and possibly put them up for download.

    I am all for the section, but, like Deer, I am curious (looking forward to Vershye's take on that :p) if this section could also include writing. My artistic manipulation is relatively decent, if given enough time, but not enough so to where I'd be comfortable making things. And besides that, it isn't a high interest of mine. On the flip side, what usually comes with graphic design/art forum section are requests, and the only time I ask for work is when I know the person really well. Now granted, I am very far from being the majority of users, but with those two bits my use of this section would be reduced quite a bit. With the ability to post extremely small short stories or poems, I can say with certainty that at least a few people would be more than happy to make use of the area.
