Out of memory (or something similar)

    Well, I got out of memory screen while in mining world, it derped my inventory when I logged back and spawned me just before I typed /mine command.

    Happend second time too but on main world...

    Is there any fix for this?

    I found error log for java... I dont understand a thing in there but well...

    Its not my ram (8 gigs) and its not virtual memory (between 10 and 15 gb)


    P.S. I am sorry if there is already post like this but my search did not find it.

    If your playing in browser then refresh your page, if your playing from the launcher close, close your current one and open the launcher again

    maybe it is your ram, minecraft does not use ram like other games, on my comp it used 220 MB before i set it to 1GB, you can check the ram useage by clicking F3 and looking in the top right corner, it will say how much memory you have

    maybe vou have bad sectors on your hard disc, it manifests by writing and rewriting your HD, symptoms are 1 program after the other failing, not responding or freezing every time you try to turn it on

    Its an issue with minecraft or the plugins on the server because there are multiple people that have had this issue. 1.3.2 had a bad memory leak problem that was supposed to be fixed in 1.4.

    i was one of the persons who had that, i gave minecraft more ram to work with, and that fixed it

    No bad sectors ( I do chkdsk once a month ), RAM 8 gigs... Well, I have laptop with 4 gigs and I dont have that problem...

    I complained about poor performance in mining world after 1.3 update when mining world was still same as we had in 1.2.5.
    I have similar issue now after 1.4 update. And again, only in mining world. So i suspect anti-x-ray or some other plugin that works only in mining world.

    When we had new mining world generated in 1.3, performance was good again. Was there some plugin change/update when mining world was reset?

    Now i hope that reset of mining world and generating new mining world in 1.4 will help us.

    Hit the F3 button, and in the upper right roner you can see how much ram minecraft uses and how much memory it can use
    It will say: Used memory: xx%(xx) of zzz
    Whats the number i represented with zzz when you open your minecraft
