As for release dates everything is always Tuesdays
And sean was Founder of Avalon
And 100 gold a Month for The Deity bank,

Great times man sure did have fun hanging out on the server with all you guys

And as for second running the town, I came back and he was mayor some guy i had never met running the town I put months and tons of money and time building, But he truned out to be a great guy and a great Mayor

Didn't Avalon beat both Dracore and Stalingrad to 100? I can't remember, but I remember Avalon getting huge, and fast.

 

i was there for first map reset, i was currently in bartertown with a good friend of mine (now in the army) and that was 1 1/2 years ago!

 

Thing is, i know all of all these towns, like bartertown and BRAVE's town, and of course Stalingrad, Avalon and Dracore. But i never - and if i did, rarely- actually visited them, because i had no idea you could /t spawn. Only time i visted Avalon and Dracore were the rare days i'd decide to go on an adventure to no where. Thing is, i was still pretty noobish, and i had no idea for a while there was even a railroad made by VV. So i'd find a railroad, and i'd see an empty minecart running along it, so i'd just hop in. I'd end up somewhere eventually.

I also remember the time i found VV's workshop and he let me in. He was working on a little temple thing. And then in the next map (i think), he was repairing the railroads and i got trapped inside his fence he used to keep people out, and RIGHT outside the fence a chicken laid 2 eggs and i couldn't get to them in time. So he have ne 10 eggs instead =P

So many stories....

 

BRAVE Town was my first town, and hands down, the greatest town I was ever in. I cared for each and every resident.

And of course, Aqua (The Town of the Revolution). I love Phumb like a brother even to this day.

And I'm thankful for each and every town inbetween and after. Any town I've been in has shaped me in some way

I remember joining when I was using the account Shawnriles. Joined Avalon right away and never left. ​

Also Sean was not the founder of Avalon, a fellow named smthree ( or so I was told by Ethspy or Gothdeviluk way back when haha ) was. I believe Stalingrad ( not 100% on this it has been some time ) beat us to a 100 but we eventually passed them and were the largest town. I ended up taking a very long inactive period from ImDeity to try out other servers not too long after Sean left, if my memory is correct Whisperduke ( He was the mayor after Gothdeviluk who was the mayor after Sean ) was the mayor by the time I finally said to the town I was gonna be permanently inactive.​

I think my favorite memory from back then was when all of the actives in Old Avalon started using vent and there was confusion whenever someone tried to address myself or Sean ( Since I was known as Shawnriles then ) so it went into quite a debate until finally people just started calling me Riles so myself and Sean would know if we were being talked to.​

I have a bunch of other memories from Old Avalon, good times.​

 

I'm pretty sure the first town was Ragnarok in the far corner of the map On the original map. with the castle that Deity, Mikey, and Vv built by hand

 

My journey started somewhere in December 2010 on classic server, first person I met there was Vvenaya. I remember when he showed me his private world (I sneaked to it :> ) with so many cool buildings
After few promotions I saw the post on forums announcing that Deity is working on Beta server, and there was this film:

And that film is the reason I joined this server! I remember that after watched it I was like:

I've been whitelisted somewhere around half of February 2011, went like 100 blocks from spawn and built my very first house which was, if I remember good, right next to Wraith's tower with lava pool:

Then I got bored of this place and decided to join Stalingrad which looked very nice to me There I met Snipey, Mojinax, Val and few others. I have even started my big project Warsaw Eye but when it was almost finished something happened and there was this huge rollback that deleted whole town. Fun fact was that my old, timber house survived and I think I was the only person that didn't wanted to reset whole map Anyway, it would be great to be able to walk once again in this relic house that I made almost 2 years ago

So that's my story of joining this amazing server. It's almost 2 years since my first step and it's well said that :

I joined November/December of 2011. I witnessed the map reset and was on until Kingdoms 2.0 came out. Everyone started leaving and I did too, with less time for Minecraft. I left for quite a few months, and now I'm finally back!
