    [1]: Builder- Watsen56
    [2]: Name- Forest District's Clock Tower
    [3]: Story- The entire idea behind this came from watching the movie Hook, where Captain hook was defined by the alligator that took his hand so he made a Clock Tower out of it.
    So, since my entire district Ive been building was all based and grown around the forest I decided to pick a tree randomly and recreate it.
    I tried to make it somewhat like someone took an existing tree and built a clock into it. Although it might not seem as creative as you would think. It actually took a lot of work to recreate a minecraft tree of this grandeur.

    [6]: Middle of Avalon's Forest District / x-4285 y-135 z-2310
    [7]: Additional info:
    -Materials-
    Sandstone- 4 stacks
    Raw Redwood- Around 2 double chests and then some I would say.
    Redwood leaves- It would take a team of mathematicians.
    Stone Block- Around 8 stacks

    -Special Thanks-

    To Namkrow and what used to be the Reech Shop. For giving me a brief break from farming leaves by buying their entire supply.

    Can you show me what's inside? From the outside, it looks okay, but not anything special. Mostly just wood logs, and leaves around it. It needs to have some special "tang" to make it great.

    That's fine, but it's supposed to have a lot of logs because its a Minecraft tree. I want it to stay a duplicate of the Minecraft tree it sits by. Thanks though.

    I think it's pretty nifty. I would love to see those roots become far more out of control, though. And I understand where Lord A is coming from - for instance, if you'd copied a big Grandfather tree as opposed to just a smaller blocky tree it would be grander. But as it stands, I think it works well as a clock tower, in shape and form. If there is an inside, it would be nice to see ... I think if you added some more details - not even more materials, just maybe some more detail, like holes or darker leaves placed to recreate the texture in the leaf blocks of the smaller tree, wilder roots, hints of branches inside the big square leaf boughs (you have roots, after all!), and so forth, such additions would make it really great.

    Thats a little to much logs for me. on the forms it says dont use lots of common materials(logs,dirt,cobbel,etc)

    I tore it down and built something better, as far as the comment on the logs...It's a tree. But anyway thanks for the comments all. Its been replaced.

    I think its awesome, but the new one is better. The new one has more intricate stone work and is less simplistic.
