    Excited for, a legitimate way of getting chainmail, instead of holding fire in the palm of my hand...
    The only downside to this is retrieving the emeralds, apparently they are 25 times rarer than diamonds!!

    I'm really excited for writable books, I've wanted them for so long. It allows us writers to share our works of art inside Minecraft!

    I'm also looking forward to tripwire. That'll be a lot of fun to work with.

    Ender chests will be a great way to trade with other players.

    For the new update coming out, the feature I am looking forward to the most is probably the fixed hit boxes on stairs and the redstone tripwire. I like to play with redstone, so it adds so much more possible complexity, and also allows redstone to be transfered a long distance.

    At this rate I'm not so excited. Yay, a new ore to use for something I find every 20 games, and slowed single player. This is SO fascinating.
    Hate to break it to you, but it isn't the Adventure Mod. It's just a mode that doesn't let you break blocks. Sorry

    Wow I sound depressed.

    I think the entire update is going to be amazing, but specifically the tripwires, large biomes, writable books, buckets in dispensers, and ender chests. The one thing I am kinda bummed out about though is the boats. They will drop boats instead of planks and sticks. I'm going to miss the days when we had to pack extra boats on a voyage just in case.

    I am personally looking forward to all of the updates which have been listed, but am most excited about the addition Of the Book and Quill- which is a book with editable text which can be written in, named and signed to make it unable to edit. Long gone are the days of having to write background stories on countless signposts during adventure maps, or crafting a book just meant one step closer to crafting a bookshelves for your infamous library or office.
